“Top drawer Hotel, First Class Staff. Worth every $”
What is not to rave about with this hotel. Excellent Staff, clean spacious rooms and a great pool and childrens area. We had the reasonable priced breakfast buffet and kids ate for free. The staff were excellent: Rhondadee was professional, cheerful and friendly. Her mention of the buffet was what made us go there the first day. The excellent food was the reason we went the second day. Also, when she realized it was our daughters 4th birthday, while we were in the pool, she had two pieces of cake sent up to our room with a cute little card. These things are what has caused a card carrying member ot the Marriott club, to change to the Delta. We will stay at this hotel again. The staff should all get a big pat on the back.
“Supremely helpful staff, very impressed.”
Although out of the way a little this hotel has a lot to offer - wonderful rooms, gym, swimming pool and excellent staff.
“Great for a "Stay-cation"”
We were looking for a quick get-away with the kids (9 and 6) and did not want to travel far. This hotel is perched on the top of Toronto and allows access to many of the local attractions. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the water slide. There are various depths and temperatures available (big pool comfortable temperature, children's play area a little warmer, and the jacuzzi - toasty warm). The whole family enjoyed the clean hotel with friendly staff.
“OUTSTANDING!”
EVERYTHING WAS LOVELY! THE ROOMS ARE NICE AND THE SERVICE IS ALWAYS OUTSTANDING! HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING THERE.
“Great Hotel!”
We recently stayed at the Delta Toronto East with our family. Our room was perfect for two adults and two little kids. There was plenty of space for everyone, including space for the kids to play. We ate at the hotel restaurants for one dinner and one breakfast. The food was great, it was convenient to have options within the hotel, and the kids ate free! We don't normally use hotel pools, but we did at this hotel. There were two waterslides at this pool. The adult waterslide was closed (only open on the weekends#, but the kiddie waterslide was perfect and our kids loved it! The pool was clean, well maintained and not super busy. It was a great way to keep the kids entertained without leaving the hotel complex. The staff at the hotel was great. Everyone was very professional, nice and helpful. Check in/out was very smooth and easy. They even had toy packages for our kids that made them feel extra special. We would stay here the next time we travel to Toronto. The location was convenient for either going downtown or elsewhere in the Toronto vicinity #as long as you have a car). I would recommend this hotel.
“Great March Break stop for the kids!”
Great for kids! Very kid-friendly, from the toys and goodies bag at check-in, to the pool and games, to the buffet (free for under age 6, breakfast and dinner!). We made this our "March Break" trip away, and it was fun for the family. The elevators and rooms are just beginning to show their age, but the place is clean and otherwise well-maintained. We will be back - and hopefully we'll have the chance for sushi on the 14th floor then too...
“Family Hotel and kids have fun”
This is my 3rd time stayed in the same hotel. Not much change since the last time we stayed (about few years ago). Nearby Pacific Mall/Hwy 7 all the Chinese restaurant. Reasonable rate but didnt expect to pay parking fee everyday, but will recommend others.
“Great Experience”
Great hotel with a very high quality of service.
“Best in town”
We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and we're definitely going back. It was about 10 minutes away from the Pacific mall and was a convenient place to stay at no matter where you're going. The hotel was beautiful and clean.
“Very nice, but charge for everything...”
The Delta was a very nice place to stay during our weekend trip to the Toronto Zoo. It had a great pool, especially for kids. It was also nice that they had an "adult only" swim time in the evening for those who wanted a quiet kid-free swim. The room was well decorated & very clean. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on & that includes the Tempur-pedic I have at home! I didn't want to go home & sleep!! Room service was fantastic & went out of their way to deliver a specific meal not on the menu. It tasted great!! My only gripe would be the charges the hotel places on about everything. I thought it was ridiculous that you had to pay for parking, especially since it was simply parking lot parking. I also thought it would have been nice if they offered free bottled water, as opposed to the $5 Perrier & Evian available on the dresser. I just wanted some cheap spring water, but had to settle for tap. Yuck... Hotel also ran out of discount Zoo tickets so we had to pay full price & wait in line at the gate once we got to the zoo.
