“A platinum experience”
Always a real class act! Extremely convenient when travelling by train and arriving across the street at Union Station or landing at Billy Bishop Airport with the free shuttle available to the door of the hotel.
“Highly recommended!”
Expedia screwed up my reservation and the hotel front desk straightened it out with no problems at all. Highly recommend this hotel. The nostalgia is amazing!
“Perfect for business”
When travelling on business I frequently stay at the Royal York. The stafff is friendly and helpful and accomodations are clean and comfortable, with excellent facilities.
“Love this hotel”
When you stay at the Royal York you really feel like a special guest. The rooms are beautiful and full of special touches...like fresh flowers in the bathroom and creamers for your coffee instead of packages of powder. Some might think it is a bit old fashioned but that is what I love about it!!
“serenity, service and affordable indulgence in the heart of Toronto”
the most relaxing stay I've had at a hotel in years - I didn't' want to leave - it was that enjoyable !! luxurious sheets, cozy rooms, deep bathtubs for those who like to indulge in a relaxing soak , bathrobes - best of all ... the health club and whirlpool & pool & steam & sauna -- club attendant very friendly and helpful - facilities super clean - front desk staff incredibly polite & helpful -- room service quick and meals delicious - I would definitely return.
“Walking Distance from ACC”
Great location since we went to see a game at the ACC. Surrounding bars and restaurants were closer than first thought. The room was elegant and comfortable, with lots of space.
“Toronto classic”
This is an elegant hotel with all the amenities. It is older, so rooms tend to be smaller, but are still comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Also the location is great. Shopping, dining, and sightseeing all within easy walking distance.
“very pleased”
- smaller room than anticipated. - booked a king- checked into a queen- really was a double - undergoing construction- no view from window but was warned of this upon checkin and was not a concern - amazing location - fantastic service - booked two rooms and got them side by side without hassle - fantastic restaurant in the lobby- 'Epic'
“Very Nice Hotel”
A very nice hotel with extremely friendly employees.
“"Love visiting Toronto"”
We love the character of this old Hotel. We accept the smaller room and bathroom size as part of the period in time these old hotels were built. The central down town Toronto location is very convenient to many entertainment and shopping locations. It is also in the center of the business district and close to many downtown corporate offices. The Hotel Restaurant is exceptional. The Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. We have stayed at the Royal York many times and will continue to use it as our first choice when visiting Toronto.
