“Great Chateau in Loire Valley”

Very happy with the location of the Chateaux as we could easily visit serval castles from here. The staff was very friendly and helps in English. The internet connection was easy. As with all restaurants in So. France, meal prices are high compared to US prices. Just be prepared and enjoy.

“Serene beauty”

Lovely ancient building, super quiet location, (not easy to find the first time),a mile from town. Our room in the original chateau was just what we hoped. Staff was unusually helpful and welcoming, Breakfast was perfect.

“Unbelievable lack of croissants!”

Unbelievably for a hotel that proposes quality, a lovely stay was marred by the fact that we were given ONE small croissant each at breakfast and when one of our party asked for more, she was told that each guest could only have one. The lovely waitress tried to resolve the problem with the management but they were adamant - only one croissant per person. And the breakfast was not included in the price - it was extra!!! We couldn't believe it! Apart from this, the hotel is nice, not luxurious, but nice. The staff are lovely and do all they can to be helpful. The croissant issue became a joke for the rest of our holiday. We will remember this hotel forever, not because it was so nice, but because they count the number of croissants per guest.
