"At check in, the staff was very welcoming and kind. We had an issue with opening the room and they apologized and got it quickly resolved.
The room itself was fine. It looked like newer carpeting and the bathroom looked fairly refurbished. It's been updated, you can tell. The beds were comfortable.
The hallways and elevator needs some care. Just cleaning and deep cleaning. We didn't utilize the outdoor pool, but checked it out . The fitness room left something to desire, especially with the treadmills.
The breakfast was fine. I saw a lot of complaints here, but it was a basic Continental breakfast - nothing fancy, but I wasn't expecting too much. Especially for the price. And that's the thing. We wanted a good price and a clean room. That's what we got. I was wary of the common areas, but the room was fine.
I think with a few more updates it will be a nicer hotel, but it seems like they are on their way and trying to do what they can."
