“Conveniently located, friendly and modernised hotel”
The title of this reviews says it all for a business or leisure taveller wishing to find a hotel near the centre of this beautiful and historic city.
“Great little hotel. Recommended.”
The Piemontese in Torino was a great little hotel in a reasonable location at a great price. Rooms were on the small side, but very comfortable and extremely clean and warm. Internet was nice and fast. TV had no English channels, but no big deal. Breakfast was outstanding - typical Italian breads, ham, salami, cereals, yogurts, fruit and coffee or tea. Service staff were excellent and spoke good English. I will be staying there again. Recommended.
“I will use this hotel again”
First of all I'll have to say how friendly and helpful all the staff were during our stay at the hotel. The surrounding neighbourhood while not being the best, I never felt uneasy, say like I would in some UK or US cities. The breakfast buffet was very good and the coffee excellent. The rooms are comfortable and my only complaints would be the lighting in the rooms could be better and sometimes there was a funny smell in the bathroom. Other than that I was very happy with the hotel and would use again without hesitation.
“Great”
Great hotel, excelent service. Good location, I would definitly recomend it.
“Nice Hotel and Staff”
Nice Hotel near Porta Nova and city centre
“Good value”
Not the nicest area in that it's quite close to the main train station. However, it's still very well-placed as a base to explore Turin centre at a reasonable price
“Warm and friendly place for business trips”
I had a room at the top floor, which had no elevator access, so I had to climb stair for one floor. But on the other hand, my room and the bath tub were very clean and I could sleep well. There were a few good Italian restaurants nearby, all open at 23:00 Sunday night when I arrived, and I could also reach the university very easily the next morning. The central touristic attractions were also within walking distance. The people in the front desk spoke English well, which is not always the case in Italy, and were very helpful. They even copied out maps and colored the paths to my locations for me.
“Nice small and friendly hotel.”
Hotel was clean and staff we very nice. Parking is a bit tricky until you check in and get access to their parking lot. Lots of nice little places nearby for a beer or bite to eat.
“Nice hotel, but the area is a little shady.”
The hotel itself is well maintained, the staff is nice and the price apparently includes breakfast which was a nice surprise. The neighborhood however, was quite shady. They also offer free wifi in the hotel lobby, which is rare in Europe. The only real complaint about the hotel is that the shower was in a tiny stall. But that's it. There is also this one pretty good restaurant called Alba nearby that is apparently frequented by a lot of celebrities including Adrien Brody.
“Quiet and comfortable hotel in central Torino”
Very pleasant and welcoming hotel well-situated but quiet. Conveniently close to the railway station. My only criticism was that the room was very cold and I couldn't find a way to warm it up. I arrived very late and didn't want to have to fiddle about with switches.

Porta Nuova Station, Turin, Italy: Turin's main train station is the Porta Nuova Station, built in the 1860s. Designed by Alessandro Mazzucchetti it was modelled on Kings Cross in London and consisted of an arrivals hall and a departures hall separated by a hall with a semicircular roof. The early 20th century saw many changes to the station and the interior has since been completely restructured, although the façade remains.
