"We stayed at Rancho Dolores for our weekend trip to Joshua Tree and had a wonderful experience. The property was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything was easy and hassle-free from check-in to check-out. The AC worked amazingly well, which was especially appreciated given how hot it gets in Joshua Tree. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others."
RESET Hotel Joshua Tree National Park

"I saw this hotel all over social media and was really excited to stay at RESET. We arrive at check in time and was told that we could not go to our room yet, I confirmed and ask if check in time was at 3:00 pm. The front desk agreed and stated no apology at all just that they were fully booked last night. Eventually we got told we could go to our room around 3:45pm. I’m very understanding but the lack of apology or offering us a refreshment as we wait was upsetting. We check into our room then head over to the pool. There were no towels available for us at the pool. We talked to the front desk again and they stated they had no more towels for us and we had to wait for the towels to dry. That’s fine, but we waited over an hour and no one cared to find us to give us a towel or put any more towels out. At this point we never got pool towels and just left the pool. Additionally, there were dirty cups everywhere at the pool. One of us needed an iron or steamer for our dress shirt. We walked over to the front desk and asked if they had an iron or steamer. They said only the cleaning staff had it but they were on their break. The lady working the front desk stated she would go get it and come drop it off at our room. She never came. We went back to ask again and a different staff member was helpful and brought it to us. I never leave reviews but this was one of the worst stays in a while. All the staff was extremely nice except this one specific lady, I wish I got her name."

"Room was dirty, there was hair everywhere! There were stains on the walls and the sheets. The room had no microwave, no ironing board and smelled."

"Great experience for my girlfriend and I. It was our first time glamping! The yurts were cute, you also have an AC cooler inside which is nice during the summer. Restrooms aren’t your typical fancy hotel restrooms, it’s glamping in a deserted area so you shouldn’t expect anything more! Just minutes away from Joshua Tree national park, stores are nearby as well, we enjoyed every second of it. Erin greeted us with her handsome dog LeRoy! She was an amazing host both Erin and Leroy were the sweetest!"

"The place is meant to be like camping. It’s perfect for sleeping overnight after hiking if you don’t want to camp. The bed is clean and window ac works. You are paying the right price for what you need. It’s not clean but it was okay. It’s colorful and fun. Desert vibes. 🌵 I am glad it’s there for what I needed."
