SuperbPosted Feb 13, 2013
Pros: Suite city View
Cons: Room Service
Radisson VP is one of the Top 3 Hotels in Uruguay, the location is perfect, near to everything and the suites are superb. room service takes a while but it eventually gets delivered.

Never againPosted Jan 17, 2013
Pros: few from top floor
Cons: nearly everything else
Location: good location in the middle of the city
We would never stay there again. We moved out after one day even that we had prepaid for 4 days.

Good for seeing the old part of the cityPosted Jan 15, 2013
The Radisson is a good choice if you are stopping at Montevideo for a few days to see the 'sights'. It's a good location for the old town. Watch out if you are there on a Sunday though - there are no restaurants open in the area, and there are no good options at the hotel itself. The hotel is quiet with not much atmosphere - the bar is super quiet and the casino not that nice. However, the hotel rooms are very comfortable and large - everything you would expect.

This hotel was great 80 years ago. It has been renovated, but the surroundings are not nice. it is not a 5 star hotel

It was very convenient and the bell hop/congiere personnel were very helpful. Our biggest complaint was that there were no restrooms on the main lobby level. You had to go down through the casino to use a restroom if you were in the main lobby. This was totally not appropriate for children, while waiting for a taxi, etc. Also, we were told the beds were doubles, but they were just a little bit wider than twin beds in the US, although longer. Very narrow for 2 people. Swimming pool was great.

In the heart of the Biz DisctrictPosted Oct 19, 2012
Walking distance to every single office in Montevideo, Ciudad Vieja is the heart of where every business deal happens in the country and the Radisson has the greatest structure to receive clients and/or host meetings.
