“Beaver Creek Lodge--A Hidden Gem!”
Our stay at Beaver Creek Lodge was magnificent and I would highly recommend this hotel to others, especially those traveling with young children. The hotel was very clean and the rooms are well appointed and very spacious. More importantly, the hotel is well located in Beaver Creek Village It's only a few steps from all the shops and restaurants in one direction, and the base of the mountain in the other direction. Plus, there is a Christy's Ski Store/Rental on the second floor of the hotel; this made skiing much easier and more enjoyable. The staff was very helpful and the restaurant, Rocks, on the second floor was great. We'll definitely stay there again.
“Great location, very nice hotel”
We thought the hotel was very nice and the room accomodated 2 adults and 2 small children easily. The pool was great and the staff very responsive.
“Great Property!”
THe Beaver Creek Lodge is a great place to stay! It is convienent to the slopes and the escalators in Beaver Creek Village that take up to the lifts. The Lodge has a ski rental shop in the hotel that also stores skis for the hotel guests, even if you don't rent from them. Our room was a 2 room suite. It was perfect for two people. The living area has a sleeper sofa but for four people to stay in the suite would be pretty crowded. There really wasn't much space to place suitcases nor much storage for your clothes. When you add ski clothes and boots, that's a lot of stuff to scatter about. The suite furnished plates, flatware and glassware and housekeeping washed them daily. The housekeeping staff was excellent. Also handy to this property was the Village and area buses. The bus stops were just outside the lodge so you could stay warm while waiting for your bus. This lodge has a restaurant and bar. The bar was pretty lively after the lifts closed, but we did not eat at the restaurant. Definitely would stay at this property again!
“Nice Hotel and extremely close to ski lopes”
The hotel is basically next to the chair-lift so if you are planning to wake up and start skiing, this is the place. Nice and confortable room.
“Beaver Creek is the BEST for Louisiana Vacationers”
Everything was terrific but the cafe near entrance could open earlier for breakfast before heading outdoors. Decor is beautiful!
“great hotel, great location”
We had a great stay here - it was a beautiful hotel right next to the Beaver Creek ski resort. I would love to go back.
“Fantastic Place, Even Better Location”
We really didn't have much to go on staying here but were pleased more and more as a stayed. We arrived late - lights on, bed turned down, chocolates waiting. They even made us dinner after the kitchen was closed! More extras: humidifer in the room, maid service twice a day, steps to the slopes. After many OK hotels... this is an A+.
“Can't Wait to go Back!”
The hotel was beautiful!!! Not over-done ..... classy and elegant. The staff was very helpful from the valet, front desk to the maintenance man who saw me wanering around looking at art and suggested I take a look at the gallery on the 2nd floor. The resturant was wonderful, although as the first guests to be seated, it was a little unnerving that the 2nd set of guests were seated next to us and they were very loud.
“Can't wait to go back!”
Beaver Creek as a whole is beautiful, a winter wonderland! Beaver Creek Lodge is in a prime location, just an escalator ride up to the slopes. The rooms are all suites and are very nice and have many extras (ie electric fireplace, silverware and dishes for dining, and extra vanity outside the bathroom area, all granite countertops). We ate at many of the restaurants in the village and they were all wonderful. Nothing is cheap, but at least you feel like you are getting what you pay for. Just a note about to-from airport transportation, it is only a 30 min drive, but there are no yellow taxis, only "private" taxis and shuttles that all cost $$$$. Hope this helps!
“loved it.”
Everyone on the hotel staff was very kind and helpful and professional. The ski rental people at Christy's on the ground floor were great, too. My wife particularly liked the attitude and helpfulness of Matt there at Christy's, but they were all like part of the hotel staff- very good to deal with. It was a very pleasant experience,a nd we will return.
