“Very impressed”
Super hotel very close to arts science & oceanography museums (fabulous architecture). Friendly & efficient staff on front desk with good English. Excellent breakfast & very comfortable room with kingsize bed. A business hotel but also very good for travellers - we hope to return.
“Great Location”
My husband and I had a great time in Valencia and enjoyed our stay at the Barcelo hotel. It's in an excellent location based approximately 20-30 min walk from both the old town and beach. There are also lots of local bars/restaurants within 5 mins walk in most directions. One thing to note is that on arrival we were offered an upgrade to a 'view' room for an additional fee. We did take this up but asked to move on the 2nd day because whilst a good view these rooms are at the front of the hotel and the noise of the traffic disturbed our sleep. Apart from the view the rooms at the back of the hotel are exactly the same but much quieter.
“Fantastic Hotel”
The only down point was the blinds weren't dark enough so the room was too light. Otherwise a very nice hotel, great service and very clean.
“Great Service!”
We stayed here for 4 nights on a trip to Valencia and loved it. It's very modern so it did take us a bit to figure out how everything in the room worked, but the staff was extremely helpful. The airline lost our luggage and the front desk staff called them several times until our baggage was found and returned to us. The spa is very nice, we ate at the restaurant and had the most attentive waiters and servers of any restaurant we ate at in Spain. The beds were also very comfortable which is important to me. You can't beat the location, right across the street from the new Ciudad de les Artes y Ciencias, and a few blocks from a huge shopping center called Aqua. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
“Great Stay and a Great Price”
At the price I paid on the weekend before the Americas Cup I couldnt be happier with this hotel. Nice rooms, good service and a good location.

This hotel was situated close to the Arts and Sciences Centre and is perfect for families We had adjoining rooms and the rooms were spacious and clean with all the amenities The staff were extremely helpful with directions and transportation assistance One of the best hotels I have stayed in

Great location so able to make the most of the city and the beach. From the bus stop opposite the hotel the number 19 bus takes you straight to the beach. Hotel was very modern and rooms well designed with comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.
“Great hotel, great city.”
The Hotel Barcelo is fantastically located for the incredible arts and sciences park and is a 10 minute bus ride from the beach and the old town. The rooms are modern, light and well equipped with comfortable beds and a well designed bathroom. The breakfast is definitely to be recommended as are the views from the gym! We'd definitel go back.
“Nice”
The hotel was well upto it's 4* rating. No problems what so ever were encountered. Hotel staff had a very good standard of English, making the trip and stay much easier. The only problem we had, was getting there from Valencia airport, it was a bit of a walk from the nearest subway station. The hotel has a bus stop located very conveniently just outside, making trips to the beach much eaiser and cheaper. The hotel also looks over the very futuristic styled Science park, which was a day's worth of sight seeing and activity. Breakfast was very healthy, with a large selection of fruits, cereals and bread. But we seemed to be the only tourists around, since the hotel is mostly used for business travellers as there are a couple seminar rooms within the hotel.
