“Delighted”
I was impressed by everything at the Best Western Chateau Granville. The room was quiet, spacious and spotless and the staff were friendly and helpful. All in all the best hotel I have ever visited. Yes, the nightlife around there is 'colorful' but that only added to the experience. I did not feel in the least unsafe.
“very comfortable and good value”
Parts of Granville street are somewhat seedy, but it seems like the neighborhood is changing over. We never felt fearful and we were all women ages 12, 16, 44 and 84. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of shops and short driving distance to many Vancouver attractions. We were very happy with the staff and the quality of the hotel. I would stay there again.
“best hotel ever!...”
i can't wait to go back!...
“Excellent hotel !!!”
Our stay at this hotel was great. The rooms were maintained very clean and were spacious. We needed an extra bed and with just a call we received one of those roll beds that met our needs. The suite had its very own backyard on the third floor and it was really good for my granddaughter to play at. The food and service at the restaurant was excellent, too.
“It was perfect!”
The location was exactly perfect for shopping, night life and work. Everything was within walking distance including excellent places to dine. The room was quiet, very comfortable and affordable. The front desk was also very helpful and accomodating with some of my needs for business. I will definately return next year when I am there on business again.
“Great Place”
My fiance and I had a great time. The staff was very accomidating and friendly. The bartenders were great at suggesting other great bars ("El Furniture Wharehouse" was the best bar ever!). We only had a problem with a waitress in the morning being very unfriendly and unprofessional. But the rest of the hotel staff made up for it by far. We stayed in the Queen Suite and its a great room, very comfortable and clean. The hotel is in an excellent location. Will come here again when in Vancouver!
“Satisfied for an overnight stay”
Some people mentioned about 'crossing' the alley between the main building and this little annexed building. But for me, it was close enough to get to my room, and the security wasn't an issue at all (you need to use the key card three times before you can get into your room!). Overall I am very satisfied for the price I paid.
“Great Value and Location”
Great hotel and great value. Very comfortable and great location.
“Loved the view of the city lights at night”
The hotel was clean, and the staff were attentive and accomodating. We really enjoyed the restaurant and lounge. The food was excellent. The only complaints we had were concerning the noise within the hotel late at night/early morning, and our refridgerator did not work well. We enjoyed using the balcony to watch the streets below, and again really loved the view during the evening hours.
“Loved this hotel.”
The hotel and restaurant were excellent. Good service at the Front Desk, knowledgeable concierge who went out of their way to find my husband his favourite BC wine that we can not get back home. The hotel is located right on Granville Street so it’s in a very walkable location for shopping. Loved everything about this hotel, especially the staff!!
