“Excellent stay in Vancouver”
This hotel is conveniently located for the downtown Vancouver area including the waterfront. Most attractions are within walking distance as is the main shopping district. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was worth the money. Highly recommended and I would stay here again.

“Pleasantly surprised!”
A friend in Vancouver said the area was ok, but I was still not quite sure about what I was getting for the price. Well... quite a lot!! This hotel cost the same for three nights as one night at the conference hotel - at the special conference price. The building is older, but the common areas and my room had been all been recently renovated - including the bathroom. Apparently there are a lot of hostels in the immediate area, so the hotel caters to a younger demographic. Wireless internet, iron, hair dryer, coffee maker (although there is no fridge to keep cream) and alarm clock in the room with a continental breakfast. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, close to the convention centre (less than 10 min walk). I would come back again!
“Excellent stay ar Ramada, downtown Vancouver”
This is the most convenient hotel to stay in if you are going for visa stamping to the US consulate in Vancouver. Convenient location, nice cozy room, fast internet and excellent breakfast.
“Great Deal”
This was an excellent hotel for the price. Great little restaurants around and within easy walking distance to the Vancouver Convention Center. I did not have the breakfast in the morning so I cannot comment on it.

The Ramada in downtown Vancouver has that old town charm dating back to a Victorian Era.

The hotel & room were clean. Room was a bit small and faced a wall (made me a little claustraphobic), but was otherwise nice. Staff was great. Location was good, for the most part.
“Downtown Vancouver (near YVR)”
We only stayed one night so we can get to the airport relaxed rather then taking a very early ferry and get in to rush hour traffic across Vancouver. Reasonably priced and 10 minutes from the YVR airport. A bit worried about parking in the area after 10PM, but it was okay. You can also use the Valet parking they have for a fee...
“You get more than you pay”
I stayed in this hotel for four nights with my friend and as we are students, we couldn't afford to pay an expensive hotel and chose Ramada because of the price and the webpage that looked quite good. But we didn't expect that it would be such a great hotel. The staff was helpful 24 hrs, always friendly and nice, the room had two extremely confortable beds, was perfectly clean and the bathroom was clean and nice, too. Additionally, the breakfast offered a high variety. All in all, it was perfect.
“Great location for cruise ship passeners”
Yes there are less that desiragle a few blocks east but the price, room, and staff were great. 2 blocks to Gastown. 6 Blocks to cruise terminal, and 2 blocks to liquor store. What else can you want.
