“Excellent Hotel”
Hotel was amazing. This was our honeymoon, it was a perfect hotel, central, clean, excellent breakfast, very friendly staff.
“Venetian classic”
The moment you walk into this gorgeous authentic Venetian experience, all you see is the Venetian Glass. It is everywhere, even in your bathroom. I felt like I was staying in an authentic Venetian home. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was the perfect start to our day of walking the city streets. The hotel is located directly in front of the public water bus station and water taxi stand. The bus terminal is a few short blocks away. We could not have been happier with the hotel and it's location and will stay there again.
“60th Birthday Bash”
The hotel is situated right by the water bus stop and by the train station, it is just a short walk over the bridge to the airport bus terminal, so not far to drag your bags. As its near the canal so remember the insect repelant. Modern room with lovely walk in shower. The air conditioning was not switched on so the rooms were a little hot (we hit a heatwave in March) although i suppose at this time of year air conditioning is not usually required. We found Venice in general rather expensive with 4 halfs of beer costing around 24 Euros. Take a Gondola away from the Grand Canal and see some wonderful off the beaten track canals. 4 adults 80 Euros for 40 mins- fantastic. The local bars and restaurants are very friendly and happy to assist in reading the menu. The hotel staff were very helpful and always happy to provide information. I would certainly stay here again.
“venice birthday”
I found the overall experience very good. Staff helpful but unobtrusive, food substantial, room comfortable and location perfect for bus station for airport, railway station and vaporetto.
“Outstanding hotel and location in Venice”
Hotel was a nice surprise. Having stayed in numerous hotels in Europe, this room was large and had a full size bathroom......had both a large shower and a jacuzzi tub. A balcony ran along side the room with excellent views of the Grand Canal of Venice. Location was excellent as well. Resturants and transportation were only minutes away. Staff was helpful and friendly, spoke English fluently. We would recommend this hotel and if we are ever back in Venice, we would stay again. As an added bonus, the price was reasonable.
“Beautiful hotel in a well appointed area of Venice.”
Beautiful, well-run, hotel which is very easy to access from the airport via Alilaguna, seconds from the train station and seconds from a major vaporetto point. Ample satisfying breakfast selections.
“Venice jewel”
The location by the water taxi and train station was great, right on the Grand Canal with lots of shopping and fine eating. The front desk staff is exceptional, especially Jorge and Patrick. We were in the older part, the bathtub was not all that good, but the room had charm. I also stayed in the remodeled area one night, great bathroom and it was all updated, but not the charm of the first room. Just a trade off. The breakfast buffet was great! We would stay there again for sure.
“Great hotel, great location!”
Wonderful location on the Grand Canal. Great street for shopping, gelato and Breks was a find for local, inexpensive, good Italian food a few doors down from the hotel. Very good continental breakfast every morning.
“Definitely Recommended”
Despite being really busy time of year the hotel went out of its way to improve our stay, booking restaurants and water taxis at a moment's notice. The staff are friendly, the rooms comfortable, and the drinks at the bar were good too. I never managed to get to breakfast, but was told it was good. The hotel is an easy distance from the station, and convinient for vaperetto stops too, but it is quite far from the main culture and nightlife of the city, which was the only downside.
“Great location”
We had a short stay at the Boscolo Bellini in May. It is easily accessed from the St. Lucia train station...just be warned the name "Boscolo" does not appear anywhere on the building, only "Hotel Bellini" (we passed it the first time). The room was small, but nice, comfortable bed and pillows. We were on the 4th floor and had a nice view with windows that opened wide. Would definitely stay again.
