High-speed wired Internet access (surcharge) is available. Pay movies provide entertainment. Windows open for views of either the garden courtyard or the canal adjoining the hotel.
Room Amenities
Recreation
The Lido of Venice, the slender, 11.5-km (7.25-mile-long) island facing the Adriatic Sea that lies a 30-minute waterbus ride from the hotel, is the city's playground, especially in summer. Year-round, visitors rent bicycles to explore the island, play golf, or take horseback rides. Aside from fishing in the canals, the central city offers nothing in the way of recreational opportunities. Deep-sea fishing is available in the Adriatic Sea.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

“Lovely, quiet, small hotel, tastefully finished”
All things considered, one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Situated in the quiet residential zone of Cannaregio, the hotel is away from the noise and crowds of central Venice, yet is only 10 minutes walk from some of the main streets. The breakfast was way better than the 'normal' basic Italian fare and the bedroom was just lovely.
“Highly recommended”
A little overpriced but the nicest management and perhaps the best breakfast buffet I had in my two weeks in Italy. A little out of the way but if you find the vaporetto back way to the attractions (management was very helpful in this respect too) you will survive. Many nice little restaurants in the area frequented by locals, always a good sign
“In A Quiet Area of Venice”
The exterior is of typical Venice construction. Inside it is entirely modern (public rooms and guest rooms). Not a bad thing - just an observation that the exrterior is in no way Venice-esque. Excellent and helpful staff; outstanding buffet breakfast; very tasteful design. Only note: it is hard to find. The hotel might consider sending directions and specific transport choices. Or you can just splurge with a private water taxi. Afterall - it's Venice - so do it the easy way.
“Hot hotel in Venice”
This hotel is Very usefull for weekend break with family. Symphathical staff.
“Great hotel at a great price!”
Residenza Cannaregio is a good hotel located just about 15mins on foot from Venezia Santa Lucia rail station. It is located in the Jewish district and to some it may be a bit far from the centre. However, this can be reached easily by foot on a 20-25min walk. The room we were given was of a very good size as it has a double bed, a single bed, a small living room and of course a good sized bathroom. For the same price you could get a tiny 3 by 3 metres room in the middle of the town centre so this hotel gets my thumbs up. Breakfast was good; a selection of cold meats, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, bread, hot drinks and juice. The staff was very friendly from start and we got a free drink at the bar. We cannot fault this hotel and we would be very happy to go back.
“Great hotel”
Located in a residential area, which means it's quiet and away from the tourist areas. The staff is friendly and helpful - as there is no restaurant, the staff took care of dinner reservations for us. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel for its location and comfort.
“Fantastic Hotel”
We had a very comfortable two floor room. spacious bathroom. The breakfast was excellent. there was free wifi in the lobby. It was a little hard to find but only about a 15 minute walk from the train station. Venice is not that big so its not too far to walk to any of the sites.
“What a Wonderful Place”
This hotel was amazing. I know the word is a bit cliche, but it truly is. The only thing I might say is make sure you have good directions to it if you come at night because Venice is a difficult place to navigate in general. The once monastery has been beautifully converted into a great hotel. The room my wife and I got actually had a large sitting space with a desk for internet access. We had a laptop we plugged into an ethernet line with. The bed was actually in a separate upper loft that cantilevered out over the sitting space below. We had a large window that looked out onto the garden. The room had exposed beams which appear to be load bearing and original, but I cant verify it. The room was very clean and modern. The bathroom was pretty large and definitely easy to use. A really nice restuarant also exists on the property, but we never ate there. We were told it is very good! If you are use to American standards when it comes to the comfort and modernity of where you stay, I can verify that this place is a great option.
“Good hotel in a quiet location”
Very nice hotel. Modern interior is well done and works well. Remarkably quiet, even when quite busy. Plenty for breakfast. It's a some way from the main attractions, but some way isn't that far in Venice & a waterbus stop is nearby.
“great hotel”
Great hotel, excellent location.
