“reasonably priced hotel , good service”
200 meters from bus stop. 10 minute bus ride to venice. Staff is friendly and helpful. They took the time to program my phone. Would stay here again. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
“very accessibilble for visitors to Venice”
Hotel room was in great, newly remodeled condition - new tile, etc. Compact but Immaculate. Very friendly desk people, spoke English. Breakfast was beyond expectations! Easy access from Aiport with much luggage (taxi -E$25.) and another taxi when we headed for our ship-(E$30.) During Venice stay, took bus over bridge to canals, using same pass for bus and vaporettas (water buses). Easy even for us novices to Italy.
“convenient to Venice”
Centrale Hotel made Venice very accessible without having to drive and park there. The bus stop is just a couple blocks away. As for the hotel itself, it was very clean and the staff quite helpful. They even suggested a parking lot a few blocks away where we could leave our car (over the weekend) without having to pay for parking. The hotel parking was 10 Euros per day. The rooms were very small but adequate. The continental breakfast left something o be desired. There was another breakfast area that was much nicer and we would have rather paid a little more for our room to eat there.
“An excellent hotel”
An excellent hotel in a pleasant part of Mestre, and a good base for visiting Venice, with good, frequent bus service, provided you are prepared to stand on the 20 minute commuter ride.

The Centrale is a good hotel, both economical and easy access to Venice.
“Great Choice !”
The hotel is far from the train station. Its about 25-30 mins walk. If you have heavy luggage, take the bus! The location was good - neighborhood was really nice. Just few mins from the hotel there is a nice little area with shops and restaurants. Venice was overly touristy and crowded so we decided to stay in Mestre. The bus stop was right across the hotel. You can take bus no. 7 and reach Venice in 20 mins. Its one euro per ride. Make sure you buy tics from a tobacco shop. The front desk staff were helpful. Rooms had AC. Clean sheets and towel! Two things I didn't like : the shower was very tight. It was ok for us but if you are on the heavier side it mite be an issue. Also, you have to pay extra for Wi-Fi.
“Centrale Hotel”
I was a bit hesitant after reading a few of the reviews about this hotel, and I was afraid I was in for a nightmare! However when I got there, I was very pleasantly surprised. All the staff were friendly and very helpful when asked for recommendations of where to go or where to eat. The single room I stayed in was just the right size, the quality of the hotel was very good. For a 3 star hotel, I thought it was really good. The continental breakfast included wasn't anything to write home about (you had to pay 10 euros more for the nicer buffet breakfast but didn't think it was neccessary), but then it was only breakfast and there are lovely cafes and restuarants around to eat at during the day. The transportation to Venice and the airport are regular and it's easy to get around and understand everyone. I was really pleased with my stay, would recommend the place to anyone and will definitely be going back :)

The so-called continental breakfast was awful and the room was tiny. parking structure was many blocks away.
“Well located”
Whilst Mestre is not a very pretty area, it is well located to get to Venice easily. The hotel is very close to the bus stop which is the easiest way to get to Venice. Room was clean and we were upgraded to a 2 room family unit at no extra cost as it was very busy with tour groups. Internet connection hopeless with firewall stopping us sending emails, but we could read our emails. Night staff don't speak english which made it hard to solve problems. Some great restaurants around the hotel.
