Recreation
The Lido of Venice, the slender, 11.5-km-long (7.25-mile) island facing the Adriatic Sea that lies a 15-minute waterbus ride east of central Venice, is the city's playground, especially in summer when beaches and water sports draw visitors and Venetians. Year-round, visitors rent bicycles to explore the island, play golf, or take horseback rides. Aside from fishing in the canals, the central city offers little in the way of recreational opportunities. Deep-sea fishing is available in the Adriatic Sea.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or near the hotel; fees may apply.

“Excellent hotel and definately recommended”
This was a lovely hotel, in keeping with its era. 5 mins from Rialto Bridge and 15 from St Marks Square. A good base to explore from. Quiet location but easy access to restaurants etc. Very attentive staff. Lovely courtyard and lounge to relax after all that walking!
“Would love to go back”
This was just what we were looking for. Quiet, quaint & small. It is close to water bus to St Mark area and airport water bus. Lots of nice shopping and resturants. They had a nice breakfast buffet and very pleasant lobby with small bar, pool table and seating area. Don't forget to bring your convertor. Rains most afternoons so take hotel supplied umbrella on outings.
“Giorgione is excellent”
An excellent hotel, very well located, breakfast is very good in a very interesting graden.
“Great Hotel”
This hotel was great from beginning to end. Easy to get to location, helpful staff, and nice rooms. If I ever get back to Venice, this is where Im staying.
“Amazing”
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was easy to find, full of incredible Venetian glass chandeliers, with a beautiful courtyard garden. Our room was extremely quiet, with a lower room with a couch, writing desk, 'fridge and TV, and an upper mezzanine floor where the double bed, Moroccan style lounge corner couch, bathroom and another TV was. We even found a bottle of complimentary on ice waiting in our room which we enjoyed on the private rooftop terrace garden. We had not expected such character and style. The breakfasts were plentiful with a good selection. Just beware of the sparrows when eating in the courtyard garden.
“Wonderful”
Everything was wonderful... Great staff, location, nice room and the breakfast was good. If I go back to Venice I am definetly staying here.
“Fabulous Hotel”
This hotel is within easy walking distance of all the key places you will want to visit in Venice and yet it feels tucked away and genuinely Venetian. The hotel offers excellent value for money and its situation means that you are only a short stroll away from many authentic family trattorias if you want to eat out in the evening. The room we had was splendid, beautifully appointed and the staff were a joy. The waiters at breakfast were mutilingual and always cheerful and helpful. I would certainly highly recommend this hotel.
“Good location, quiet, breakfast buffet O.K., helpful staff, definitely would stay there again.”
We stayed in this hotel for a week. The so called junior suite was actually more like a regular room but it had two separate bathrooms which was nice. The bathrooms were rather small, but hey, it is Europe, after all! Although our room was a "junior suite", it was more like a regular room, with high, cathedral ceiling over the bed. Breakfast buffet was O.K. I liked free access to the Internet in the lobby, and to relax in the afternoon with complimentary tea and coffee served either in the courtyard, or, on cooler days, inside. Although the hotel is close to all major attractions, it is on a quiet street, and it was very nice to relax in its courtyard by the fountain after all day of walking and sightseeing. The overall experience was nice, and we would stay there again.
“Excellent for the money”
Room was nice and clean. Breakfast is good. It is about 6 min walking from Realto bridge (if you do not get lost). Receptionists speak decent English (not very common in Italy).
“very nice hotel”
good hotel for the price. Lovely decor, good location
