Palazzo Sant'Angelo sul Canal Grande, Venice, offer 26 guestrooms in a converted five-storey 19th-century building. Views from rooms are of a small canal running along the hotel's side or a garden at the rear.
Decor and furnishings recall 18th-century Venice, a century before the palazzo was built. Walls are covered in red-and-cream brocade fabric, carpets are red, heavy drapes are cream-coloured, and furniture, including desks, is pale grey. Stucco detailing runs around walls near ceilings.
Amenities included wireless Internet access (surcharge), minibars, slippers, and bathrobes; a turndown service is also provided. Green-and-white marble bathrooms feature jetted tubs.

“Great place in Venice”
Beautiful hotel ! The room was uniquely decorated in luxurious fabrics. Staff was always helpful . Location was great and food excellent. Everything worked in my room which is not always the case for Italian hotels .

Great location, easy to get to via water taxi (has it's own dock), beautiful large room and bath, helpful service.
“Wonderful Hotel”
We visited Venice in June 2006, and stayed at Palazzo Sant Angelo. It is located on the Grand Canal, but was quiet because of very little pedestrian traffic. The wter bus stopped about 100 feet from the door, so access to all the sights was easy. The Hotel was beautiful, and the staff was very helpful.
“Excellent hotel and great location”
Hotel just what we wanted. Not too big and good service. Vaporetti stop just yards from the hotel and from there acccess to everywhere including boat to the airport. About 10 miutes walk to Palazzo St Marco and Rialto bridge.
“Where to stay in Venice”
Placed on the Grand Canal within view of Railto Bridge and with a sant angelo boat stop directly to the left of this hotel it is ideal for a base. We had a welcome bottle of wine and a fantastic selection of italian biscuits waiting in our room for us. All rooms have jacuzzi baths and are very very clean. Highly recommended

This hotel is located directly on the Grand Canal. The room was beautiful and the service exceptional.
“Perfect location and hotel”
This hotel was perfectly located with a taxi stop and the water bus stop right outside the front door. It is also centrally located for many of the main sites. I am unable to eat gluten and the hotel staff went out of their way to ensure I had a gluten-free breakfast. They also recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner that had views and magnificent food. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated and the jacuzzi bath after a long days walking was bliss.

convenient access via the vaporetto. just around the block from san marcos. the breakfast was good and plentiful. the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. would recommend to anyone who wants to avoid the crowds around san marcos and who enjoy the ambiance of a small boutique hotel.
“Great Hotel”
I took my son as a surprise 21st birthday present to Italy with this being my second time to Venice, within the year. This hotel was not in the hub of everything, which was fine to me as not as crowded as the ones close to St. Mark Square. Also, the hotel recommended 2 restaurants to us, which were absolutely fantastic. Such a pleasant surprise as I found the restaurants close to the main attractions to have mediocre food with poor service.
“Great spot for watching life on the Grand Canal”
We had a wonderful stay at the Palazzo Sant'Angelo. The lobby salon and bar were welcoming and had newspapers in many languages. The view from the salon and bar was the Grand Canal. We enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. The room was the best "family room" we encountered during our trip. The main bed was huge and the mattress the best. The full sized fold out had a good mattress and it's own little alcove, complete with television. The bath room was huge, had a spa tub and was the only hotel during our trip that had wash cloths. Each evening, one of the staff would slip in and turn down the bed, leaving a chocolate square on each pillow. We would love to return!
