“very nice”
Hotel was very nice. The food in the restuarant was excellent. Very good location.

It is a nice hotel, excellent rooms. The hotel is not close to the centre. It would cost you 25 Zlotys to get to the city centre by cab.

Rooms were comfortable but with only cool/cold showers available it was a downer The restaurant was fine and the hotel clerks were very helpful and we were very glad that someone spoke English.

“Good Value Hotel”
I think Portos provided everything I would expect from a one-star hotel. It has good breakfast, too. Only issue was the temperature in the room. If they could warm it up a bit, then Portos would be a perfect hotel for the price you pay.
“Good price but should be considered your last choice”
We stayed here because all other hotels in Warsaw were booked. Hotel is located in outlying suburb of Warsaw not close to trams or trains. Hotel is a converted apartment complex (3 towers with 14 floors each). Rooms are large but basic. Resturant food is good, but resturant is not large enough for breafast crowd and long waits were experienced by many guests.
“Not impressed”
Our experience at this Hotel was not very good. First of all the Hotel did not have air conditioning and the weather was pretty hot that day, about 90 degrees, But we manage to open the windows and that helped aliviate the heat. The room was confortable, The other problem we had was that the people at the front desk NEVER answered their phones, they said they were too busy to answer!!. We could not use the phones at all and were stuck without a phone service. We could not call our family or received phone calls for that matter.
“LOOK FOR SOMETHING ELSE! Even if you pay more...”
... First my impression - to far from the city. Hotel is not clean and old, looks like its remodeled from students house. Soap in bathroom is the size of coin - just good for one person a time. For few backs more you get get descent hotel in real downtown of Warsaw .
