Property Amenities
Georgetown Suites is an upscale all suite hotel that offers great location and value. Our spacious suites are perfect for families. We are located in the heart of Georgetown, set back from the street in a quiet courtyard. Foggy Bottom Metro is a 10 minute walk, and the DC Circulator bus stops just across the street from the hotel. Complimentary high-speed Internet is available in all public areas. The hotel offers complimentary continental breakfast daily. A fitness facility, coin-operated laundry machines and same-day dry cleaning services are also available. Georgetown Suites is a completely nonsmoking hotel.
Rooms
Georgetown suites features studio and one bedroom suites. All include separate sitting and dining areas. Fully-equipped kitchens have cookware/dishes/utensils, microwaves, dishwashers, refrigerators, and freezers with icemakers. Suites also offer high-definition televisions with cable service and premium channels such as HBO and Showtime. Complimentary wireless Internet access, multi-line phones with voice mail, and free local calls are provided. Bathrooms have plush bathrobes and hairdryers. Additional amenities include coffee/tea makers, iron/ironing boards, and complimentary weekday newspapers. Extra towels/bedding, wake-up calls are available on request. Housekeeping is offered. Georgetown Suites is a completely nonsmoking hotel. No smoking is allowed in rooms or public areas. Designated smoking areas are available in the hotel's courtyard.

“Georgetowns Best”
The best hotel in town.
“Comfy and economical”
Good location, easy walking distance to the Metro, shopping and Georgetown Uni, GWU as well. This place seemed very home-like and the staff was friendly and helpful. Kind of dated decor but very clean. I had a larger than average room with a kitchen although the kitchen was a little "bijou" but it did everything that I needed. Goose down pillows were fabulous and the bed seemed more comfy than a regular hotel. Pretty good deal for the price.
“Nice for the Money”
My husband and I were looking forward to getting away to D.C. for over 2 years. We enjoyed the trip soooo much. The hotel was perfect and near restaurants and many stores. We found a Seafood Market and bought Crab Cakes and Shrimp which we cooked in our room w/salad. The hotel felt like home after a long day of walking and site seeing. The staff was efficient. Continental Breakfast each morning was nice to start the day. When we go back we will stay here again and probably get a 1 or two bedroom suite. The room we had was large for a studio and was nice also. Highly recommend this hotel. If you have a family this is the way to go. Blanche
“Great place to stay”
The Georgetown Suites was the best family hotel we stayed at in our 3 week vacation. The staff was very friendley and knowledgeable. The room was very large (850sq ft)just like staying at home. Can not say enough good things about the hotel, it was great.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel in a great location in Georgetown. Spacious (for 3) suite with well equipped kitchenette. Staff was very helpful. Great complementary breakfast.
“Very Impressed”
I was very impressed with the rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was helpful. Hotel is the middle of Georgetown and close to everything.
“Outstanding!”
This was our first trip to D.C. since 1986, and we were amazed at how wonderful our room was and how convenient it was to everything: the airport, the universities, the restaurants, the shops, and the main attractions in Washington. I am handicapped, and they were very good about supplying a shower chair. Our room was expansive, making it easy to "spread out" after a day of sightseeing and visiting the universities. This was the best hotel we've ever stayed in. I just wish I'd known about it in '86! Thanks for everything!
“Just right”
The staff was very helpful and nice, which made a world of difference when we arrived at 8AM after a long red-eye trip from Alaska. They helped us get settled by letting us park our car and our room was ready by noon. The staff was very helpful, which makes the difference. I would stay here again.
“Great place, great location, for a good price”
This place was great, the rooms are clean and huge. There is a free continental breakfast, which includes croissains, bagels, muffins, cereal, juices...etc. It's approximately 10 minutes walk from the Foggy Bottom Metro Stop, but from K street you can take the bus to Washington (approx. 10 minutes ride till Capitol Hill). Washington Port is also 1 block away, where you can have a great dinner.
“A bargain gem”
Summary: this place is a steal. I'd stay there again in a minute. We got a clean, large, quiet room. Bath amenities were of high quality; bed, linen, and feather pillows were clean and comfortable; the free breakfast was your average muffin/bagel/juice/coffee/fruit deal, but there was plenty of it. The room was large enough to spread out - the desk was a little small for a lot of paperwork, but fine for a laptop. We are very pleased with our stay at the Georgetown Suites and would recommend it to. Tip: if staying for business, it's right across the alley from the Four Seasons - so meet your customer over at their bar and use the money you saved by staying across the street to wine and dine them. Tip: Easy walking to lots of restaurants. Tip: About a ten minute walk from the GW metro stop.
