“Great Place to Stay in DC”
I was very pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Georgetown University Hotel. The staff were courteous and professional. My room was very spacious, well-equipped and immaculately clean. My room 507 was really large and truly spotless with none of that funky hotel room mustiness. The hotel provides an ironing board, hairdryer, good soap and shampoo, a fridge, and cable TV. A fantastic experience. Hope that the facility will continue to maintain such high standards, since it's a real gem. My only disappointment was the ten bucks that they charge for wireless internet access, though one of the staff very kindly comped my access, therefore I'd say my experience with this hotel was flawless.
“Will be back if there's room!”
What a gem! Never expected such a nice place to stay next to a hospital, and in the US Capitol!
“Good hotel”
Good hotel, excellent service. Would stongly recomend this hotel.
“Great Location For Hoya Parents”
Location is on campus and room was updated and comfortable. There is a Starbucks next to the lobby.
“Personnel Very Helpful”
The employees we encountered at the hotel were extremely helpful - especially Joe (bellman/doorman/concierge). He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and was always pleasant.
“great location, service and price”
The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel is clean and well located. We easily parked and got a cab or walked to where we needed to be.
“Good conference hotel/Place for parent's to stay”
Bed linens were super soft (a personal issue with many hotels) if not sparkling clean. With few amenities within the hotel (University literally steps away makes up for that), makes it a great place for those visiting Georgetown University.
“Nice one in Georgetown”
Very nice surroundings
“Best place to stay in Georgetown!”
We have stayed in other hotels in and around Georgetown, but this is the best! It is fun to be connected to campus life, and the surrounding neighborhood is a fun and beautiful walk. It is located in the best part of Georgetown, with Dean and Deluca's, Georgetown Cupcakes and Thomas Sweets all close by and an easy walk too. We will stay there anytime we are in DC from now on. Hotel staff is very accommodating and helpful.
“Very fine hotel located in a beautiful neighborhood”
Can't beat the location in the beautiful residential neighborhood of Georgetown, on the Georgetown University campus, and a few minutes on foot from desirable shopping and dining. Great place to start exercise walks or meanderings through the adjoining neighborhood. Convenient to downtown D.C. by bus. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly.
