After sight-seeing around Washington, it was lovely to get back to a warm, comfortable room. The staff were helpful and polite. Close proximity to theOrange & Blue line metro stations was helpful too, for transfer from the airport. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Hilton GI is located in an excellent position for fully experiencing the Downtown area of DC. Located accross the street from Mcpherson SQ Metro station, it gives you access to all of the attractions quickly and safely. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. Hotel staff are attentive and there are enough around to help with everything. The Grist Mill bar and restaurant is good value for money when compaired with other hotels in most large capital city's. A good choice at reasonable prices. A room at the back of the hotel migt be quieter as ours was at the front and the traffic gets a little busy but that is a capital city!

This was our first time at the Hilton Garden and the second time in 2 years in DC. It was nice to be only 2 blocks away from the White House! This hotel is perfectly situated in the downtown area. The METRO is across the street which was nice, too. Our room was a good size and very clean. The front desk staff as well as housekeeping staff were very polite and professional. Free coffee & tea was available all night. All in all, I can't find anything negative to say about our stay. My husband and I recommend this hotel.
