“excellent hotel for the price”

This is the best 2-star hotel in which we've ever stayed, which is why this was our second stay. As with anything, the lower the rating, the lower our expectations; during our first visit, we had none b/c of a horrible stay at a 3-star in Cheverly (our bags stayed in the car). The bathroom is very small, but the room itself fit us very comfortably. And the place is CLEAN!

“Very clean for budget traveling”

This hotel is located near an Ihop which I do not recommend. The service is horrible. However, the hotel is quite the opposite. It's very clean and well lit. Plenty of parking and although at night, the police cars make their rounds, it's actually a good thing because I feel a lot safer knowing there are cops out there doing routine checks. Overall we felt safe. The hotel provide a satisfying continental breakfast but it ends way too early - 9:00 am. It's only 20 to 30 minutes away from DC. Good place to stay if you're on a budget.

“Clean and reasonable with great service!”

Nice clean rooms. Very nice staff. Standard continental breakfast fare. Neighborhood lower middle class but felt safe. Many stores nearby and a very straight shot to get downtown on city streets.

“No complaints.. Great Hotel to stay!”

My wife, my two kids and I stayed a week in the hotel on our short vacation trip to Washington DC. We have no complaints to make. We enjoyed our stay so much. The hotel is located in a safe area surrounded by a lot of places to eat within walking distance. We were provided a microwave oven and a refrigerator in our room as promised by the hotel staff. They were of great help esp. for our two year kid. The bus stop to the nearby metro stations is right across the street and the bus will drop you back right in front of the hotel. If you are a church goer, there is a church right in front of the hotel! We got all the hotel amenities we were looking for at no extra cost! A great complimentary breakfast every morning, car parking, comfortable room and the high speed Internet service. Using the room high speed Internet service, we were able to plug in our laptop or our broad band phone adaptor to use the VOIP phone service. When I had a technical problem with setting up my VOIP phone, a friendly front desk staff was readily available to direct me to the Internet technical support people, who immediately solved the technical issue. Even on other occasions, the reception staffs were quite helpful. Therefore, I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

“Very Confortable”

The help go the extra mile to help you find things around the area. We decided not to rent a car, and the clerk told us what bus to take to the Metro Station, what to do at the Metro Station, where to get off, etc. The breakfast area was constantly being cleaned, and supplied during the time they had it available, and they had a good variety of things to pick from.

“Good hotel stay”

The hotel was not perfect. But when a few problems came up, they were quick to respond. The first room they put us in lacked hot water. They quickly moved us over to rooms that had hot water - no questions asked. When someone was being loud in the adjacent room, they intervened and took care of it. Overall good value for the price. So overall, we were all satisfied with the service and the rooms

“Great place for a tight budget vacation stay”

Fantastic Job!!! Don't expect an upper class neighborhood when staying here, but had no problems, and lots of fun with the people in the area. Hotel staff were friendly and polite. Room was very clean. Had a safe in the room for valuables so don't worry when your out. Easy location to catch both the metro bus then the metro rail to get around D.C. for all day outings, or to get around town when we did not want to drive. easy to get in and out of. Quiet at night. 20% discount at the IHOP in the same parking lot for a quick meal or late dinner when we got in. Even the staff there was polite and place was clean. Will stay again in the future. Newer furnishings in the room and the bed was comfortable. Clean and quiet. What else do you need in a lower cost place to stay?

Staff was friendly, room was very clean and the FRE Continental Breakfast was awesome
