“Coming back”
Everything about the hotel was very nice. Every member of the staff I interacted with -- the valet, doorman, front desk staff, waiter in the restaurant/bar, was nicer and more friendly than you'd expect. The drinks and hors d'oeuvres in the lounge were very good and the ambiance there very pleasant. The room was very clean and quiet, the bed very comfortable... nothing I would change -- and all at a very reasonable price. I shall return!
“Lovely Hotel - Expensive Parking”
Everything about our stay at the St. Gregory was superb. The only negative is the parking situation. 1) A valet transports your car to and from the parking area, so if you have not removed everything you need from your vehicle, you have to be escorted to your car by the valet. 2) Perhaps we are not used to parking rates in large cities ... but we were not prepared to receive a charge of $33.00 plus $5.94 "garage tax" for a total of $38.94 for one night's parking. We certainly did not expect free parking, but no mention of the charge was made by the clerk at check in. When we checked out, we were handed a folded piece of paper without a word being spoken by the clerk and upon opening it, learned of the parking fee which had been credited to our credit card as an "incidental."

“Great Hotel = Great Vacation”
We stayed at the St. Gregory in April 2012 and could not have been more satisfied. Very Sophisticated, Upscale and Clean with a great staff. Location is a couple blocks from the Metro Subway and we also were able to walk to the White House and surrounding venues. We would stay here again and also feel comfortable recommending it to others.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful. They were very friendly and eager to help with any questions. They gave super suggestions for places to eat. I would recommend the St. Gregory to everyone. It was wonderful place to stay. LOVED IT!!!!

“Surprising value”
I would most pleasantly surprised by the St Gregory. The room was great and the staff very helpful. It was a terrific bargain for DC.
“Reliable, great location”
I had a four-night stay at the St. Gregory. The room was great, facilities very good. I got a room with a small kitchen, and that was extremely helpful in letting me make breakfast and reheat some dinners. The staff was great! I ended up extending an extra day, and they thought I'd be switching rooms, but found a way to keep me in the same room, which was very thoughtful and extremely convenient. The gym is pretty basic, but there are several commercial gyms in the area that allow day passes. The "business office" is basically two computers with printers, but worked fine for me. I will definitely stay at the St. Gregory again. The location is superb, and its a great value for the location (several other hotels in area are very upscale and expensive). Its a step up from the usual "Suites" type hotel. Strongly recommended!

“The only place to stay in DC”
This is an extremely comfortable and pleasant hotel. The location is perfect for business and leisure with a number of fine restaurants but the hotel's M Street is one of the best.
