Top Waterton Park Hotel Reviews

Aspen Village Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Had a pleasant stay at Aspen Village Inn. The rooms were neat, clean, and well-maintained. The receptionist was very friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The location and overall service were great. The only downside was that the price felt a bit high, but apart from that, everything was excellent. Would definitely consider staying here again."

Bayshore Inn & Spa
4/10 Poor
"The rooms are renovated but the overall building / property is not. The patio we had was tiny and looked immediately into the parking lot - so all we could see was the grill of a SUV. The property was noisy - we were on the main floor and could hear footsteps above us not to mention doors slamming in the hallway. This is a 2-3 star property. I was disappointed that there is no housekeeping unless you specifically call and request it. The pluses were the location right in the heart of Waterton and the renovated bathroom with plenty of hot water."

Prince of Wales Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was as expected. It is a historical hotel therefore things like the elevator and some of the other amenities are limited. The view is tremendous. The food was excellent and staff was very attentive and pleasant. I will remember if I go back again that the weather conditions can be pretty extreme. There was a 20 to 45 mile an hour wind blowing for 24 hours straight. It rattled the entire hotel and made our beds shake. It was a unique experience but difficult to sleep during those conditions. The hotel wisely provides earplugs in every room, just in case the wind is too noisy. Funny but I almost used them.."

Waterton Lakes Lodge Resort
8/10 Good
"This hotel appeared to need some work but with very few hotels reasonably priced in Waterton, it was alright. Pluses were that the beds were comfortable, they do a good job with cleanliness, and it was very walkable to the main business section of town."

Crandell Mountain Lodge
8/10 Good
"Our Lodge was clean but dated. The sister hotel, Kilmorey, was across the street and much more modern. Upon accessing our room we enjoyed delicious, made at hotel lemon shortbread cookies. The front desk staff we dealt with (Caroline, Karli and Tonja were awesome and very welcoming. We had Uga in the dining room who also made our dining experience wonderful."

Kilmorey Lodge
8/10 Good
"Delicious a la carte breakfast, very large portions. Breakfast is not included with the room fee, but they do give you a 10% off coupon for it. I ended up ordering the "junior" breakfast off the kids menu, which was smaller but still came with 1 egg, 1 bacon, hashbrowns and fresh fruit. Enough to eat before heading out on a hike. Staff were fun and super helpful. There is no microwave in the room, so you go to the front desk for tea, creamers, sugar, and kettle. There is a keurig machine for coffee, and on arrival there are some yummy lemon shortbread cookies, brought in fresh by a local lady. The pub food is good. If you need ice for drinks in your room, you ask the bartender, as there are no ice machines or ice buckets in the room. We would have appreciated a trolley for our luggage. We were there for 5 days, and could have used a housekeeping freshen up at some point. Apparently, housekeeping should give guests a "freshen up" on the 3rd or 4th day, but we did not get that, so we searched out the housekeeper for new towels during our stay. All in all, I would return to this hotel, as the friendliness and location outweighed any trivial inconveniences. We could walk everywhere in the town, and even walked to Bertha Falls from our room. Good memories!"

Waterton Glacier Suites
10/10 Excellent
"Celebrated our anniversary in Waterton. This is a great hotel. We had the "Romantic Suite" and it was. Our view was OK - but hotel can't control power pole transformers. Sill a nice view. Bed was a dream Shower and soaker tub a delight. FYI - if on second floor there is no elevator. Front desk clerk helped carry up our luggage (we are in our 70's and brought too much stuff). Didn't dine in the on site restaurant - not our taste in food. Parking was fine. It is a resort town. Off season many shops closed, only half restaurants open. Bring some food and eat in the room - pretend your glamping. Fridge and microwave provided. Funky coffee brewer in room - mini cups - interesting taste. Located in the heart of the very small walkable tourist village of Waterton."
