Honestly, I was surprised by this hotel stay. Everything about this La Quinta was just right. The location is very convenient for a trip to Hachie… The staff was pleasant and accommodating… The room was clean and nicely equipped. I hate to say it but on a return visit just a week later to Waxahachie we decided to try one of the other hotels in the same immediate area and wish now that we hadn’t. We should have come back to this one. We will next trip!!

Not Impressed I recently stayed at the La Quinta in Waxahachie, Texas, and honestly, it was a pretty underwhelming experience. I had high hopes given the brand and the area, but the hotel didn’t live up to expectations. The hotel itself felt pretty dumpy. The common areas and hallways looked worn out, and the whole place could use some serious updates. I was looking forward to relaxing by the pool, but it was not clean at all. The water looked cloudy, and there was debris floating around, so I decided to skip swimming altogether. Breakfast was edible, which is about all I can say. The options were basic, and most things were okay, but the bacon was just plain bad—greasy and flavorless. I couldn’t eat it. The staff weren’t very friendly or helpful. They seemed disinterested and not really concerned with making guests feel welcome. The one thing I did like about this hotel was the location. It’s in a fantastic spot, close to restaurants, shops, and the highway, which made getting around super easy. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you just need a place to crash and really value convenience above all else.
