“Great place”
The people at the desk were very friendly, and went above and beyond their call of duty to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. The breakfasts were outstanding, and the hotel even smelled nice all over!
“Nice Family Hotel”
We stayed at the Hampton Inn for three nights over Spring break. It is located close to all of the area activities and there are several restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. The only negative (very minor) is that there were no towels at the pool each morning when it opened. Otherwise, it was perfect.
“Best had stayed at in WIlliamsburg”
Been a visiting parent to William & Mary College for last 4 years. Had stayed at different places each time we visited. This was the best location and best hotel (cleanliness, service, room, location) by far.
“Good hotel, good location, good price”
My wife and I had a very good stay at this hotel. It's right on Williamburg's main thoroughfare, convenient to shopping and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room, as we've come to expect at Hampton Inns, was comfortable and immaculate. The free breakfast was tasty with a good variety of food. We will not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit.
“21st century luxury in an 18th century village”
Planning to stay only one night, we stayed three. The room was excellent and for the price - unbeatable! Front desk staff were attentive, well-trained and available. Services were good; ample free parking. Busy, commercial neighborhood, but the room was quiet.
“Colonial Williamsburg”
The hotel was about 2 miles from Colonial Williamsburg, The staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean.
“Don't Let The Two Star Rate Fool You”
Great place to stay! Selection of breakfast/lunch/dinner spots within walking distance. Clean rooms with comfortable beds! Pool open until 11pm, so plenty of time for kids to swim after a day of site seeing. Breakfast includes variety of items to start the day. Plenty of parking and in a safe area. Would recommend and stay there again.

3-5 AUGUST 2010 My family's stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites Williamsburg Richmond Road became a welcomed memory. ALL staff were helpful and quick to assist in any request. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was very satisfying. The pool was good. I had much to do so I didn't get a chance to use the fitness room but there were plenty of dumbells, a large exercise ball, and of course cardio machines. The stay was what we should expect from ANY hotel stay but because of the inconsistencies at other places to stay and the attention given to provide CUSTOMER SERVICE at Hampton Inn and Suites Williamsburg Richmond Road, THIS PLACE rises to the top like rich cream on a cup of tasty hot chocolate.
