“Nice place to stay”
My wife and I spent just one night. We found the hotel to be very clean and comfortable. We have nothing but good thoughts about the service and and how well the property was maintained. Then, in the morning, there was a full complimentary buffet breakfast. That just top off our stay. PS. One negative. The refridgerator icemaker was temporary broken. I had to walk into the night, (in the cold) to office to get ice.
“Next best thing to home.”
An excellent cross between fine hotel living, just like home, and camping out. The pool and hot tub were Very nice; available gas grill by the pool; and the main house amentities were hospitable, to say the least. I'll go back.
“Very good value”
Very good value, we liked it very much. The staff was very friendly.
“Three star Hotel”
This is the second time I have stayed at this particular hotel. The staff overall is very friendly and the room accomodations are okay. The reason my husband and I like the hotel is because of the full kitchen. Breakfast is okay but would like to see different selections. Overall the hotel is comfortable, quiet, and tucked away in a nice country-like setting.
“Friendly and helpful staff, bad location”
The air conditioner in my first room was broken, and the hotel staff were extremely accommodating in moving me to another room when they were unable to fix it (they responded to my call immediately). Since my second room was upstairs, the maintenance man even hauled my huge suitcase up the stairs for me. When I called for an extra comforter (as the one on my bed was quite thin), they brought one within five minutes. The kitchen was well-equipped with utensils, cookware, a toaster, and dishwashing detergent. I was pleased that I did not have to buy anything other than groceries. However, the hotel is very close to the highway, and I could hear traffic noise from my room while I was trying to sleep. If I had not brought a fan, it would have kept me awake. Also, the shower seemed to run out of hot water very quickly. So, my overall rating is 3 1/2 stars. I would recommend this hotel, but if you are a light sleeper you should bring a fan or request a room as far from the highway as possible!
