“''Embassy Exceptional''”
Staff: Courteous, Professional, Helpful. Comfort: Beds were wonderful, Bathroom clean, Sofa and chairs average(but not a problem). Flat screen TV in living room and bedroom...very nice but a channel guide would be nice...had to scroll channel by channel and stations aren't identified. Pool, Hot Tub and Excercise room all excellent. Hot Breakfast (including made-to-order omelets) was great. Parking: Had to pay for parking in adjacent garage(connected to hotel). Location: Great...walking distance to restaraunts, art galleries, etc. All in all...Great Stay......this was our second time at the Embassy....Recommend highly. Will be back.
“Awesome”
First class hotel! Very friendly staff and wonderfun amenities!
“The Staff was great”
This hotel was very nice it is directly across the street from the convention center. Not many places to eat nearby. There is also no free parking you must pay for parking at the hotel either valet or self park. We choose valet since you only have to pay once regardless of how many times you go in and out. Other than that it was a very nice hotel. Free breakfast was worth it.
“Great Hotel”
Only recommendation--be sure to specify non-smoking if you care as we were originally assigned a smoking room without being told that it was smoking.
“Vacation with Grandchildren”
We were traveling with our grandchildren, ages 2 and 8. We found the room very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, except utensils and dishes in the kitchen. We borrowed from the buffet and reception and left everything in our room when we left. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The managers reception every evening was great. Our grandchildren loved it. The breakfast buffet had anything we wanted to eat. We all enjoyed it tremendously. The 2 year old especially liked the bacon, while the 8 year old loved the doughnuts. They both enjoyed the pool. Unfortunately, it was closed the last night we were there and had to use the one across the street. A lot of walking with a little one.
“Suites are beautiful and huge”
The hotel was very nice, the lobby was expansive, and the valet service was top-notch. The room was gorgeous with two balconies that looked into the interior of the building - it was huge - had to have been 800 sqft, with a nice galley kitchen and a very large, posh bathroom. The air-conditioning could be set to run the fan constantly at high (very useful to cover the usual hotel noises). Two warnings - the valet parking is an extra charge per night, and the free breakfast is worth what you pay for it (we went fairly late - maybe if you go earlier the buffet would be fresher).
“Would like to go back!”
Felt very welcome there! We could check in earlier without a problem. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and lot to choose from.Nice indoor pool area.
“Downtown Winston Salem”
Perfect location for all Wake Forest University activities. Close to campus and stadiums. Above all close to Mellow Mushroom!!!
“exceptional room / great value”
The room was wonderful. It was very large and the bathroom was the biggest that I have ever seen in a hotel. Everything was very clean. The pool area was tucked away and difficult to find, however it was also very clean and had full size towels to dry off with. We weren't able to take advantage of the made to order complimentary breakfast because we had to leave the hotel before 7:15. The starbucks coffee on site didn't open until later as well.
“Excellent Overall Service”
This is a place that has a little something for everyone and it all was presented very well and professionally. The front desk staff, bellmen, valets and food service employees were all well trained, and seemed to enjoy their work. We were there for a week and would certainly return. The spa, pool and exercise rooms were clean--although I felt the workout room could use a larger variety of machines (all they had were treadmills and bicycles)--loose weights or a universal machine would help. The daily breakfast included with the suite was above average---good selection and quality food. The place was definitely a winner!
