“Good place to stay”
Upon checking in, the desk person told me that in about 10 minutes they would have freshly baked cookiesin the lobby. A nice touch. The averaged sized room was modest, clean and functional. The towels were very skinny. No coffee maker, because coffee is available in the lobby as are fresh apples. The better than average continental breakfast included a wafle maker (make your own waffles) and cheese omelettes. I had a good one night stay and would recommend this motel to others.
“Great Location near The Sundome”
Only a 5 minute drive off the freeway to The Sundome (concerts, basketball & volleyball tourneys) & a 4 minute drive to the State Fastpitch tourney!!! And, a five minute walk to the Convention Center! However, it's difficult to find the right road to eventually get to the motel. Don't try it the first time when it's dark...YOU WILL GET LOST! I'm glad I arrived in the early afternoon. It's located behind a major mall. Room was nice, clean, comfortable and quiet. The after dinner cookie tray was empty (thanks to 3 little boys in the game room) and it was not restocked. Breakfast IS NOT that much. It consisted of a few donuts (unglazed and yummy) , a limited choice of small yougarts, a limited selection of cereals, toast, bagels, orange juice and coffee. The "breakfast nook" has three small tables (2 -4 chairs each). Since it was a "full house", the self service line was quite long and there was no place to sit, we opted to go the first morning to the Old Country Buffet (absolutely the best in town) and a local popular pancake house on morning #2. Yes, we will stay there again because of the price, comfortable rooms and the perfect location (once you find it) near the sports arena and the Convention Center.

Conveniently located downtown Yakima, we found the motel to be a clean, comfortable and affordable place to stay. If what you need is a place to sleep safely and confrtable, this is a good choice.

No stuffy attitudes; warm smiles upon each greeting. "*&" breakfasts that encouraged us to feel at home.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Suites Yakima. Compared to other chain hotels nearby (in which we have also stayed in), it offered great service, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good!

“Excellent base for Yakima Wine Country Tour”
Very nice hotel that we used as base for a 3 day winery tour. Also near Yakima Greenway bicycle and walking trail.
“Clean doesn't even begin to describe it!”
Room was very clean. Enjoyed the "homemade" cookies in the evening and the continental breakfast was delicious all the way down to the fresh made waffles!
“Happy with this choice”
This was my second stay in this property, but the first as a Gueshouse Int'l. For the money, it is a very worthwhile choice. The service at check in/out was excellent and very courteous. The grounds were clean and tidy. The 2 rooms were clean, in good order, and comfortable. My wife and I were in one room, and two other family members in the second. We all praised the hotel, with one exception: we agreed the beds were very firm, which impacted our sleep quality. Other than that, the stay was excellent for the price, and we will stay here again when we are in Yakima.
“Nice for kids”
We enjoyed the waffles and yummy, hot chocolate chip cookies on arrival. This motel is right beside the chains, and it offered a much more homelike feel. The rooms are not fancy, but they were clean. If you have issues with steps, this is not the hotel for you, as you have to go upstairs to get to most of the rooms. The apples and mints were good for the car ride. Don't miss some of the wonderful (and surprisingly good) wineries around Yakima.
