“I will definitely return to this beautiful city, and hotel.”
A wonderful 4 star hotel with all the amenities, even chocolate on the pillow for the cost of a two star hotel in Barcelona, a city that has changed since my last visit, and where I stayed at a hotel which was more expensive, and no way near as nice.
“Good central hotel”
My wife and I stayed in the Reino de Aragon for three nights in early August. We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable, and the breakfasts (the only food we tried) to be very good, although on one of the three days, there appeared to be a lack of staff to clear tables and restock the buffet. Whilst we were in Zaragoza, the temperatures were very high (mostly 35 degrees and above) and the excellent air conditioning made the hotel very comfortable. Possibly the biggest plus was that the hotel is in a very convenient location for sightseeing around the Plaza del Pilar (less than 10 minutes walk) and for buses to the Expo 2008 site which we wanted to visit (buses leave regularly from just around the corner of Plaza d'Espana). We arrived by car and found the one way system in the area behind the hotel made it quite difficult to get to and from the hotel, especially in view of the fact that the entrance and exit from the hotel is in a one-way street to the side of the hotel.
“Awesome central location, great service”
This hotel is in a perfect central location, close to the El Tubo area of tapas bars, the Cathedral, and many dining and shopping options. The hotel staff was super helpful with all of our requests, and even went out of their way to give us a fabulous restaurant recommendation. The room was fairly small but clean and well maintained, and with the high level of service and great location, I would definitely recommend it as an excellent hotel option in Zaragoza.
“Centrally located hotell, some traffic noice”
Spent two days at the hotel for business. The rooms were large and had nice bathrooms. Fairly standard, but the location is good. Parking in basement with direct access to hotel. The window in my room was not possible to close entirely so some noice from the outside road was noticable. The decoration is somewhat 80's and but more than adequate. Missed a comfortable chair to sit in and no proper working place. But its main feature is being close to everything.
“Way too noisy too sleep”
The hotel is on a busy road in the centre of Zaragoza. The windows are not double glazed so the continuous traffic noise kept me awake both nights of my stay. I had a wonderful view of a concrete wall about 4 feet from my window. The hotel is generally quite nice and service was o.k. although speaking English was often an issue. Internet was free but extemely slow. Room service finished at 11 PM - understandable but irritating if you arrive late at night and are tired and hungry. In general, if you want to sleep then find another hotel. If you are business traveler then find another hotel.
