“A friendly place to stay”
A comfortable place to stay with easy access to Zurich centre by tram and also to the motorway network. The free parking is a bonus. Breakfast was excellent. A pleasant, but rather warm room, was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful.
“Our comfortable stay at the Hotel Coronado”
We arrived to the hotel, they had no record of our reservation, but luckily they had a room. For our inconvenience, the very nice lady at the from desk comped us two breakfasts which are usually pretty expensive. The room was just what we paid for. Extremely clean, quaint, and straight forward. The bathroom was small, but did exactly what it needed to do for our stay. The location is great for the price. The #10 tram takes you on a 20 min ride from the airport and drops you off directly in front of the hotel which saves a lot of $ for a taxi ride. The tram #14 takes you directly to the train station in 15min. The front desk sells 24hr cards which makes it easy. They also book your reservations on tours and are happy to bring extra pillows and blankets. Coffee, tea, and a bowl of fresh fruits are always available in the lobby, and the best part is that they are free. There is a coop market about a block away if you'd rather snack in your room, and there is a pretty good pizza place next door that we found fun. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the more budget conscience traveler. I don't want to spend my time and $ on a hotel room, but I do want a safe clean place to unwind and the Hotel Coronado did exactly that. Zurich is one of the most expensive city's in the world, and I did a lot of research, and the reviews on this site helped out tremendously, and for that I am greatful. Zurich is a beautiful city, and our stay at the Coronado was everything we needed.
“great place to stay in zurich”
THE CORONADO IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY. HOPE ON THE TRAM AND YOUR IN CENTER CITY OR TO THE AIRPORT. THE STAFF, ROOMS, BREAKFAST WERE JUST FINE. A GREAT ITALIAN RESTAURANT 50 YARDS AWAY . HAD FUN IN ZURICH AND AT THE CORONADO..
“Great bargain hotel”
Very helpful staff. Very clean room (spotless). Basic amenities, nothing fancy, but done well. Very convenient location.

Lovely place to stay. Like staying with family that you like to visit. Right on trolley line.

This hotel is a great value - only 10 mins by Tram from Zurich main train station. The staffs were very helpful, room is clean and is fairly large in European standard. Will stay there again.

“Friendly staff, clean comfy (small) room, excellent transport links”
This is a great small hotel. Its not glitz and glamour, but the rooms are clean, comfortable and the desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It is not located right in the small Zurich town centre, but it is right next a tram stop with 4 tram lines that will take you any where you want to go in Zurich within 15 minutes (trust me we tested it). This place is perfect for a city break weekend, on a small to medium budget.

“Ideal for Car Renters”
This hotel is a very clean hotel with free parking. The tram is across the the street providing access to all of Zurich. It is also an easy drive from the airport. I was able to park my car when I arrived and did not drive it again until I left two days later. The staff was extremely helpful and all spoke perfect english.
