“Recommended hotel”
i spend twice in this hotel (a few years ago and now).
“Perfect for single business travellers.”
Great location, great breakfast (home made jam, loose-leaf teas etc.), rather compact but adequately big rooms, good internet included, good showers, nespresso coffee at reception, fair price for all this. Perfect for business traveller. Couples or families would find the rooms rather cramped,
“Very highly recommended central hotel,”
My daughter and I stayed at the Helmhaus Hotel for three nights and were both very impressed with all aspects of it. The hotel is in a quiet location but only a few minutes walk from the main attractions. Both of our rooms were more than adequate in size for two people, with a large modern bathroom. The wooden floored rooms were clean and furnished to a good standard, with comfortable beds and pillows. A very comprehensive breakfast was included. The staff were very friendly, helpful and informative.

Meticulous Swiss with nice breakfast, internet, and great heated towel rack and helpfulfloor by shower. Very helpful courteous staff.

Stayed there 20 years ago before the renovations so had to go back to see whats changed. Very modern now - everythings changed except the service and the lift (2 people if you are lucky). Great service, very friendly, would definately go back!
“Peace and Quiet in Zurich”
Helmhaus Hotel is comfortable, quiet, very clean and stylish. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, especially the fresh fruit salad, panettone and home-made jam. The bed was extremely comfortable and surprisingly large for a single room. The bath was also a good size, and hot water was plentiful. It helped us enormously to be able to leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out, as we didn't have to be at the airport until 5.30pm. I would definitely stay there again if I returned to Zurich.
“Good hotel, Great location”
A double bed would have been nice. Apparently the hotel only has two rooms with double beds. The rest are twin beds. If you are fine with this, then it is a great hotel.
“A Jewel”
Right in the middle of downtown Zurich, next to a charming square and many excellent and varied priced restaurants. We were able to walk nearly everywhere. The staff was extremely friendly, and the continental breakfast -- which comes with the room -- is more like a complete meal. I would definitely stay again.
“Great in Zurich”
This hotel was more than we expected. Location is convenient for walking or the tram. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Excellent restaurants nearby, as are major attractions. Room and breakfast were first class.
“A fantastic place to stay”
This hotel could not have been any better. It was pefectly situated for everything we planned in Zurich. It may be the smallest 4 star hotel in Zurich, but don't let that fool you... It was just a wonderful place to stay!
