This is the 2nd time we stayed at this accommodation abs the owner was very helpful and punctual in coming to meet us to open up the place and explained the facilities. He kindly helped us to call to book the restaurants we wanted to go to but lacked the ability to communicate in Japanese with the restaurants who don’t have online booking facility Some neighbours were inconsiderate and we could hear loud talking until close to midnight but this is something that is out of control for the owner.

Great self contained accommodation!
The room is well laid out, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is small so it is a bit tricky to get change in the bathroom. But all in all we enjoyed our stay, and the hospitality of the hotel owner. We would stay again when visiting Furano again. Our only suggestion would be to change the spring bed in the near future as it is dipped/uneven. After a day on the mountain, it is hard on the back.

We booked for two nights based on the online info. The location is good, however after spending the first night in the house we realized that the bath room is very tiny that one’s arm constantly hit the wall during the shower, and the wet body will touch the dry toilet paper after getting out of the tub. This might be the reason that there is no photos of the bathroom shown online. Also the water heater generates some smell in the whole house when the unit is turned on, although it looks very new. The linens are very old. To us the property should be called cabin, far from a house.

Warm and cosy place
Nice little place to stay with all the basic amenities. Bonus was the kitchen which we didn’t have a chance to use. Owner was very meticulous and explain every detail to us. Helpful in giving us reference for restaurants etc

Neat little house for short stay to visit the area
Owner has adequate grasp of English to converse with.. The bins in apartment are a little too tiny.. Strict check in at 4pm onwards - be warned.. I did not feel warmly welcomed but the apartment was good for the price paid. Thank you.

Great place to stay for a few days!
Super clean room. Parking available. Very good host who explained how to use all the appliances/switches in the room upon checkin. Better to have your car to travel to sight-seeing places. Rooms are not super sound-proof though not very noisy either. Would definitely stay here again.

Great little spot. Accommodating host and close enough to the ski gondola where you can walk. Restaurants also very close.

a very cozy wood house
We love this brick house very much. It’s very cozy, inside is wood so it’s warm too. The location is quite convenient than I though, there’s 7-11 and post office nearby. The landlord is very nice and very helpful!

This was a fantastic place to stay in. The owner was very friendly and explained everything in English. The place had a cabin lodge feel, with a loft bed as well. It also comes with a kitchenette, so some light cooking is possible. Not that it is necessary though, as there are plenty of food options nearby, many within a 15 minutes walk. Perfect place for 3-4 adults to share. The only possible downside is that the toilet is tiny, but that is quite expected of Japanese toilets in general, so we were not too bothered by it.

We stayed there for one night only. The staff was very friendly and helpful; everything was clean and tidy and well-maintained. The price is reasonable. All is good and will recommend it to others.

A nice hotel close to everywhere
The hotel staff is very friendly & helpful. And It's located in the central of Furano town. It's accessible to everywhere in Furano, all places are just within a few KMs. A cosy small town which you can explore in the morning(jog or brisk walking).

Nice and cosy little room
Need to car to drive to Brick House. The property is well maintained as the owner is really care about this property and keep explaining to the guests of how to use the facilities. The drawback is the guests are only allowed to check in within 4pm-7pm, and need to check out 10am.

Awesome accommodation close to slopes
Brick House is an excellent place to stay. Three minute walk to slopes. You can lay in bed and look at the slopes. Awesome and very helpful owner. Really clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Not a good staying place
Room facilities not up to hotel standard eg. quality of toiletaries not good and only provided with old and very rough towel, bathing gel shampoo and conditioner no other things which we can find in even a budget hotel in japan. No privacy when talking as surrounding building structure no sound proof and can hear clearly when somebody talking at next door. Not convenience if raining day no shelter outside Check in and check out take too long as need to go through inventory check. Child stay asked to pay extra yen2700 per head Overall satisfaction: not worth of price we paid per night for more than $200 which we can stay in better hotel in japan.

We only stayed one night but the experience was pleasant cos the owner was helpful, patient & professional. He even helped us with our GPS (in Japanese) for our next destination.

チェックインの1時間ほど前に着いてしまったのですが丁寧な対応でとても良かったです。オーナーさんがとてもいい人で鍵の使い方やクーポンの説明なども丁寧に教えてくれて分かりやすかったです。部屋も綺麗で木のいい香りがしました！また行きたい！！

Great House with Friendly Staff
Staff were easy going and flexible for your check in time if you communicated with them before check in. The House made in wood and it smells good. Facility in house is nice and sufficient. Staff explanation for the house and environment around the house made us feel warm. I definitely will recommend the house to others.

遇到地震及停電，屋主未主動提供手電筒(此次住宿5天，2天停電)，只能使用自己的手機照明，有些不便，因為不知停電多久，無法充電，有些擔心。除此之外，因為去年來住宿過，很乾淨、有廚房，網路使用也很好，有疑問屋主都樂於回答。

離富良野市區很近,門口旁有停車位置但不大,民宿老闆人很好,但房間規定要求很多,入住時要聽很久,住起來會蠻有壓力的,哈哈~
