Horrible stay ! When we first checked in the staff were super rude initially we checked in pretty late but they kept us waiting for so long and told us to wait on the side. Then we politely asked for a late check out since our flight was 1 am that day as we’re “ vip gold Expedia members they disregarded that and said no the latest they can do is 1 pm and THEN we asked for a room upgrade or nicer room since we are again vip Expedia members they also rejected and said no you’d think they would wanna be a little more accommodating these guys were rude and didn’t care about their guests. They then put us in the furthest wing of the hotel super old area literally 5 mins walk to and from elevator. Room was super outdated literally bathrooms from the 90s carpet was old and dirty spider webs on the corners. Absolutely shocked that this is a 5 star hotel ! Please don’t spend your money and stay there service 0 and rooms 0 nothing like the pictures.

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel. As soon as you walked in, the ambience made me feel so relaxed and known that I will be taken good care of. Staff are courteous, knowledgeable and friendly at all levels. Breakfast was amazing! Every staff wears a smile and sincerity while talking to the guest! Hotel is at a great location and easily accessible by sky train to many key tourist and shopping districts. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bangkok!

Anantara Siam not for us.
Service is great. Typical Thai hospitality. Love the breakfast and staffs. Lobby is super grand. Love it! But sad to say, our stay here was not as grand. Hotel looks very aged, probably needing update soon. The wall plugs in our room is not working, carpet looks unclean. Bed is too springy and our view is looking at the plants service area, really not nice with the kind of money we paid for. The people watering those plants can look directly into our room and at us. Guess we are next to a store room too, constantly hearing knocking and glass bottles clanking. Could have updated with a bigger pool with all those concrete space around it. In fact, could have added more deck chairs for guests as it’s always filled up. Overall I think I wouldn’t come back to Anantara Siam for a while. It’s just too aged for my taste.

Very nice hotel, staff service level is top notch, room service is twice a day and all of the staff are very attentive. We liked the breakfast varieties, plenty of room for the kids to explore and the vital is located right next to a BTS. Only downside would be the new year eve performance, loud music lasted pass mid night and families with young kids wouldn’t enjoy it very much, but again it was new year eve so it’s understandable. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the hotel staff who also brought our bags to our room. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and our room in the garden terrace was lovely. The service and amenities at the hotel were excellent. In particular, we were big fans of the poolside bar service. The Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel quickly became our home away from home and we were sad to leave.

This hotel is a bit old. Even though they upgrade us to premier room but we rejected as the room is facing construction site and the room is very dark so we stay at deluxe room instead. In general, this hotel need to improve the cleanliness of the room and also need to do some renovations of the room.
