Decent and clean room. Had to ask for cleaning staff to clean the room myself everyday as they don’t seem to come even when you press the right button. No utensils in the room, no room service at night. A lot of noisy PRC groups on the floor. Fortunately the room is quite well isolated. Had to beg reception to get an hour of late checkout, she kept insisting I need to become a member or pay a half night. For one hour… Overall average experience

Well appointed rooms. Clean. Prompt service. Did not get her name but the lady in charge of breakfast is the absolute best in making one feel welcomed. Convenient location as well. The only very slight downer is that the pool bar leaves much to be desired.

I stay in the twin rooms with 2 single beds, everything is nice. Only the bed is 3 feet width, it is the best to have 3.5 feet. It is a little bit disappointing that no green tea tea bag serving in the bar.

The hotel is near to bts station, only 5 mins walking distance which is very convenient :) All the staffs are helpful and professional, providing excellent and sincere services. Room is clean and the bathtub is very large. But there are mainly japanese restaurant nearly, not many thai food option. I understand this is not the hotel's problem so overall the hotel is adorable.

Good location, 3 mins walk to BTS. The hotel is connected with a small shopping mall with spa. Staff are friendly, lovely breakfast and swimming pool. Only thing is the shower in room was a bit weak. Rest are all good!

This hotel is amazing. Super clean, very quiet, nice gym, nice pool, great staff and located only few minutes walk from the BTS. The internet connection is the only negative point. It was disconnecting multiple times a day.

Disappointing breakfast
I’ve decided to come back to stay in Nikko solely because of a single dish in the Japanese breakfast buffet. It is the tamagoyaki. And it is THAT GOOD. But to my disappointment this round, not only there is no longer a buffet, the portion presented to me was only one tiny slice. And what’s worse, it was cold and not freshly made. The staff in the restaurant were not attentive either. The whole breakfast experience was simply disappointing. And as for the room, the cleanliness is still Japan standard, but The room amenities was cut to the utmost basic. I think it’s not a great time to stay here during covid times. Apology doesn’t bring back money nor the time I’ve lost.

Obvious Cost Cutting!
Check in was little slow as we arrive around d 8pm and there was only one receptionist. A nd she was attending to another customer ahead of us. Then to our surprise, there was no bathrobes, no bathroom floor towels and no shower mat in the room. Had to call for these very basic stuff. Guess hotel is trying super hard to save costs and cut corners . . very un-Japanese! Otherwise stay was good and confortable. Little loss on the attention to details.

I had a 20+ nights stay and ran into multiple problems with the room & building. - plumbing issue with bathtub and toilet - the shower water temperature was not consistent at high floor - thermometer number is wrong - one of the chairs had a sharp screw sticking out. It was inside the leather wrap but I could feel it when sitting - swimming pool had a sharp metal wire thingy that hurt my finger(probably a dropoff from their pool cleaning tool) - 6th floor(where the pool & gym are) smells like bathroom - weird ceiling noise(they say it's building material expansion due to temperature change), I extended a couple of nights. The room key did not auto-update and stopped working There might be some that I forgot to mention. Not sure how old is the building. The room is clean, the interior looks decent for the price, and the hotel is at a convenient location. The staffs were nice and were always available to help. That makes up for some of the not-so-good experiences. It's inconvenient that I had to wait for an engineer to fix room issues when I'm about to sleep. I had to repack my luggage to change room because of room issues. It's not something I want to deal with on vacation.
