There were many ants on bedsheets…This I can not stand. breakfast not so nice, very limited… The towels are old and hangers were moldy. It really needs refurbishing. The location is good.

Perfect beach front spot for quick get away.
All the way at the other side of the touristy Bintan area. Great place for couples and that’s what we saw, mostly couples and not overly crowded. Water is clear and many water sports activity. A good place to spend tranquil time with my love one. Also did i mention, their breakfast is simple yet wholesome, room service food and services are immaculate. Their home-made kue lapis for purchase is thick and buttery, worth every penny and slightly cheaper than what’s being sold out at shops. Over all, it’s a great spot for quick get away.

Loved the service of the staff here. My thanks to Santi at reception who was patient in guiding us. Resort was reasonably clean & safe. Glad i read reviews thus had stocked up on snacks for the kid as there were no convenience shops nearby. Everything was good but however on the last day when i was packing my bags to leave the resort, there was a loud crash. Happened to find part of my room's toilet false ceiling crashed down. This was definitely terrifying as i couldn't have imagined what could have happened if my kid or family was at the toilet. Thus, i may not visit this resort again.

Relaxing getaway !
We had a relaxed 3D/2N stay at the jacuzzi villa which was spacious and clean although some upgrading in the bathroom and improve the TV reception needed. It would be good if there are roller blinds for the balcony that can be rolled down for privacy when using the jacuzzi because of people walking during low tide and kayakers/ boats during high tide near to the villas.

Rustic but great for families. Nightly open air movie, lots of lawn for kids to play, swing set and beach. The massage at the spa was also better than most 5 star hotel spa’s. The only two downsides are that it’s close to nothing and the food wasn’t great, but we loved our 3 night, 4 day stay!

We loved it, lots of activities to do and the stuff was really nice and friendly. The food was really good! It just could be more clean.. had some insect in our room.. which is easy in Bintan.. and hard keep them away.. I had no Moskito bites tho and I’m someone that gets eaten by them so that a plus... also no bedbugs don’t worry :) But we had one cockroach 2 spiders and the second day some ants... and that’s the only negative point. Apart from that everything was awesome! An unforgettable weekend! Awesome! Also I asked if they can do something for my husband birthday at arrival to make him feel special and they did ! Awesome!

The place is great for retreat. We have been given an upgrade to room with jacuzzi. Our repeated visits. Food was good. Kelong trip for snorkelling was great. Managed to view many crown fish and other marine fishes

Friendly staff, child friendly resort, quiet, and a relaxing place. The Snorkeling and Kelong trip was fun, but the best part of our trip was the Massage at Trikora Spa. I did not enjoy the beach because of the seaweeds. We stayed in the Family room, and I must say it needs improvement. There are cracks and gaps between the wall and the floor. There were also black ants on one of the single beds. The food was ok, but very few selections for their breakfast buffet.

Bliss in Paradise
A very relaxing stay in a natural setting for a couple of people escaping a southern hemisphere winter. Bintan Spa Villa Resort is in a beautiful situation, offers great amenities and activities. The staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgable from the moment we arrived at the ferry terminal to the time we departed. We will return.

Comfortable stay with good food, but not cheap
Good things: - Nice welcome drink! Wish it could be ordered off the menu - Staff were friendly and nice to accommodate our requests (they put up a happy anniversary sign!) - All the BBQ seafood were good! (Not cheap, but reasonably priced) - Room was spacious and comfortable. Toilet slightly small. - Massage was relaxing and soothing - Fireworks available to be bought at gift store! (but limited to areas to set off and not cheap) - Sufficient free activities to fill up time (pool table, clean swimming pool, karaokae, outdoor dinner-movie screening, beanbags and hammocks) - Enough paid activities to fill your time (mangrove tour, snorkelling) - Small island off shore that can be walked to during low tide -> pretty cool! Not so good: - Shared outdoor jacuzzi tubs were not working - Flies flies flies! Too many! - Supposed area of private beach was a bit too small - Massage was pricey, and did not relieve muscle tension adequately. - Buffet breakfast a definite letdown (except for the fried banana and sweet potato) - Sunrise and sunset not seen as blocked by clouds - Paid activities were more expensive than expected - No activities around the area even if you choose to walk out - Wifi was only strong enough for messaging, especially when there are large tour groups using (such as during meal time)

Great place to go if you want total relaxation - we found the room nice and private, very relaxing atmosphere here, very nice fresh food and drinks. Not the place for parties or white sandy beaches but the spa/ massage was very good and it was everything I thought it would be.

Fantastic Getaway!
Booked this place on a whim for a quick getaway and was certainly not disappointed. Rooms are affordable, spacious and clean. It seems that much thought is put into the whole resort - mosquito repellant is provided for in the room and even have the electric zapper. As an anti-mosquito person, I am very grateful for this gesture although I didn't see any mosquitoes. Even the whole decor is nicely done up and one will feel transported away from reality. (The only thing that brings you back to Earth is the prices, though not exorbitant but a bit on the pricier side. But when one's in a good mood and in the holiday spirit, one does not mind spending) Shuttle service is provided for so you don't have to worry about transportation. Breakfast is decent. We ate on a Monday so instead of a full buffet spread, it was partial and we could order from the 'ala carte breakfast menu'. Perhaps this is done to curb food wastage? It's really well thought of. The food from the restaurant is nice too. We had seafood which was quite fresh. Staff are extremely nice and friendly. One of them were honest with us and told us the fish we wanted to order wasn't fresh and suggested we change dish. We did stand up paddling and went on a mangrove tour as well. The 1.5 mangrove tour was informative and brought us to see fireflies. We even got to catch (and release them safely) in our hands to get a closer look. The sky full of stars is also a sight to behold. Will definitely return!

Restful stay at Spa Villa Bintan
Stayed at the Ocean Jacuzzi Suite and it was a wonderful and comfortable stay. Balcony with jacuzzi looked straight out to Meteor Island and the far horizon. It was Movie Night every night and there is an adequate number of activities at the resort to keep one occupied. Service staff was friendly and ready to help. Some areas for improvement though. Bathroom smelt a little funky, sewage-like? There was no water in the bathroom about forty minutes before check-out time, which was disastrous for a final freshening up/shower. Couldn’t contact reception/housekeeping because the phoneline was unconnected/dead. Luckily the water supply resumed about 10 minutes before noon. Overall, it was a good and restful stay.

Stay in an unspoilt part of the Island !
Worth the 45 mins shuttle journey away from the busy resorts near the ferry terminal. Very peaceful with uninterrupted views as far as you can see to the horizon. I had an upgrade to a jacuzzi suite which I can highly recommend in terms of space and privacy. A good variety of water sports available and lots of space ! Food at lunch and dinner was good quality. chicken curry, beef rendang and barbecued fish were especially tasty. Cannot fault the impeccable service at Reception and restaurant. Rooms cleaned to a high standard and bedding always crisp and white. Incredible value for money in an unspoilt part of Bintan Thank you for a wonderful 4 days.

Lovely quiet resort right on the beach. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We spent a relaxing week as a family with young children, after a much busier week in Singapore seeing the sights and catching up with family and friends. It was a perfect contrast with lazy days by the pool and on the beach, snorkelling and scuba diving, and an indulgent trip to the spa. Food was good. A really wide range on the menu to cater for the more adventurous and our slightly more fussy 8 yr old! Loved it and missing the Indonesian sunshine.

Great escape from Singapore
We had a great short stay. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The room was grear and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Mostly we hung at the beach or next to it. Kids collected hermit crabs, I read a book. Food was nice. Pool could do with a clean (looked mirky) and the road is just over the fence but it didnt bother me.

If you're looking for a quiet time away from the city buzz with your loved ones, this resort is truly a place for you because it is located in a pretty rural part of Bintan. Rural as it is, there are also exciting water sports that the resorts offer as well as the spa services.

Rooms are basic. The garden view rooms are closed to the road that is sometimes noisy during the night. Confort is basic but still acceptable. Restaurant are good but expensive for Indonesia.
