Great staff, very friendly and helpful. 15 minutes on foot from train station close to all main attractions in York center. Me and my fiancé had a lovely time!

Hotel excellent staff very helpful, very convenient to walk to all amenities, rooms excellent, very clean and comfortable and spacious. Ideal if travelling by train short walk to station. Look forward to staying again. Highly recommended.

Paint chipping off the wall, a used contact lens in the bathroom, stained blankets, paper thin walls, the door to the bathroom needs replacing. £175 was way too much, also if you advertise a king size bed you should provide it. It was only a double

Wouldn’t recommend
Unfortunately not a great stay, room was basic, carpet was all loose (really bad trip hazard). Glass door between room and bathroom gave no privacy, window in bathroom had no blind and therefore early light woke us up. Housekeeping banging on our door at 10.30 to clean room when checkout was 11am! Not even a bottle of complimentary water
