Had a great stay. It was nice to have boat service and ground transportation from the airport. We arrived early after a long flight from SFO, and they gave us a room to shower while our villa was prepared. The only issue I had was we splurged on a tree house Villa, you would have expected to see the ocean from bed instead of trees. Sounds weird to say but the upstairs had a beautiful view and the other villas were situated to see a beautiful view…but for some reason they stuck us in the corner. Otherwise the service was great, food was great, amenities were great…but I would recommend just getting a normal beachfront room.

Amazing resort for a resort of its size. Seamless transfer from Caticlan airport vi their lounge and speedboat to island makes a perfect way to arrive. We stayed in a premier Seaview room which was large and well equipped and maintained. Comfy bed and soft sheets. Cleaning was exceptional and nightly turndown was thorough. Beaches are beautiful, great beach service with water, cold towels and ice cream. Always space on the loungers as pool boys clear left towels. Sizeable swimming pool. Breakfast was the most diverse I have seen, great coffee and eggs to order as well as sushi, Asian specialities and more western breakfast options. No sparkling wine which I would have expected at this level resort. Breakfast never felt like the bun fight it sometimes can with option to sit inside or outside. Food in all outlets was really good. Sundowners on the beach was special due to low key live music. Regular free shuttle into town to White beach if you want to venture out. Only downside we saw was on our last evening there was a big company party in the hotel as well as a wedding meaning there were no quiet dining outlets...you ended up hearing loud music from two directions. We did complain and got given a refund on our food but it doesn't give us the time back! From the reaction this is clearly a regular issue...I would suggest they notify guests that there will be disruption or noise so that you can decide to leave the resort if you want. Great staff.

We love Shangrila!! The experience and the stay is awesome.. super friendly staff, clean, good breakfast and nice restaurants and we love the scenery so green.. also very quiet! Its a perfect vacation and we can’t wait to come back next year…

The staff were exceptional and always there to help with a smile. The hotel was beautiful and clean and room was amazing with gorgeous views of the beach and sea. I absolutely loved my first stay at Shangri-la and hoping it to be one of many in the future. Expedia help with that when you have discount offers for members so thank you.

Superb hotel.
From the moment you land to the moment you leave, the staff look after you. Every staff member greets you and smiles even down to the grounds keepers. The service in the restaurants was also excellent. The only slight thing it loses out on is that although it looks spectacular, it is looking a bit tired in places. Although when we were there they were renovating the villa next ours so I think this is a work in progress 😁

Best hotel stay by far! Shangri-la exceeded our expectations! My husband and I stayed for 3 nights 4 days! The pool, gym, saunas were great! Unfortunately we were unable to get a reservation at the spa since they were fully booked at the time we arrived. Thankfully the hotel provided a free shuttle to the Boracay strip mall and we were able to find a nice spa down there and walk the town as well. The restaurant choices were nice at Shangri-la. Our room and view was amazing! They also accommodated us with a nice bottle of wine, two swan towel creations on our bed, a bubble bath with flower petals! The whole staff at the resort was exceptional. The beach and pool was nice! We cannot forget the amazing breakfast buffet! That was amazing with so many food options! We miss it already! We cannot wait to go back to Shangri-la on our next Boracay stay!

The dinners at clifftop seafood restaurant were first class and the views incredible. One of the top resorts we have ever stayed in and didn’t want to leave. Shangri-La has been an absolute revelation. It was my first time to one of their resorts and I was thoroughly impressed from the time I landed at the airport and was met by Arvill. He is an absolute credit to the hotel. My King Oceanfront Suite 534 was extremely well appointed. Everything was functioning, clean and well organised. I quite enjoyed my rest and hearing the waves crash against the ocean. Breakfast is a massive spread of both Asian and International Cuisine which was also thoroughly enjoyed. Well Done Shangri-La Boracay!
