Super clean newer hotel. The ac doesn’t work they said that they are in the their heater season still even though it was 80 F outside, which is fine but there were no fans and they said I could sign a paper saying they would open the window all the way but it was so noises with the metro below us. That was a huge disappointment, also no fridge or coffee in room. After our second day I thought about moving hotels, after researching there were excellent hotels available for cheaper than the ibis. Just fyi maybe wait and book last minute for a higher rated hotel for less than this one. I did not move hotels because my kids didn’t want to pack up and didn’t mind the noise and heat, I did. So just know there are better options if you aren’t familiar with Budapest.

I spent 2 nights at this hotel. The metro station (Deli Palyaudvar) is on the left side of the hotel 300m. You can buy bottle water from the station. The right side of the hotel, about 400m, is SPAR supermarket and bus stop. The location is quiet at Buda side. One bus stop to Clark Adam Ter where you can buy cable car ticket to the castle and Castle bus pick up & drop off point is there too. The room is very simple. Just have TV, hair dryer, toilet paper and body wash. So, bring your own kettle & slipper. The paint in the room is peeling off. The breakfast is above my expection. They provide basic American breakfast, oats, salad fruits, different kind of breads, juices. Coffee is very nice. Hotel lobby and lounge areas are presentable and look better than the room. As compare to the price of the room, I would say it is acceptable.
