Cannot recommend. Dirty floors and toilet. We slept in our clothing and rushed out in the morning. Pitiful

Misleading posting
After a long day driving, we arrived at 10pm to a dark street and dark building. We had to ring the doorbell for at least 5 minutes until someone came to the door. Turns out he was sleeping. Definitely not the welcome we were expecting since the posting for this hotel says 24hour front desk. He showed us to the room and left us to go back to bed. All we wanted was a hot shower and sleep, but there was not hot water in sink or shower. The room was freezing but there were extra blankets so we slept warm. The next morning after breakfast we asked about the hot water and he came to show us the trick for hot water which we never would’ve figured out on our own, turning knobs on the sink and the shower whichever way at the same time. We were hiking colca canyon and checking out so we never got a chance to use it. I will say that the location is great if you’re there to hike the canyon. The small town is charming in the daytime and this hotel does have a nice feel to it. The posting for this hotel is just extremely misleading.

Overpriced place, not worth it
Absolutley overpriced place. Small rooms, horrible view, sometimes lights went off and we were without heater, no hot water at all, small food portions (good food thou)... overall everything feels uncomfortable, even hotel workers are dresses poorly and were eating in the same dinning room with us - room is small, workers talked very loud... very uncomfortable.

The level of service it offers, given the small town and remoteness of Cabanaconde, was exceptional. Very comfortable triple room for our family. Food was great. Extensive menu with fresh trout included. Spa services available. And Gaudi, who greets you at the front desk , goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. The waitstaff in the restaurant were very friendly. Overall, we couldn’t have been more pleased with this hotel.

Very Happy Memories
We arrived on a wet evening and first impressions were not good. But the staff were so good. They were determined to see we had a good time. The highlight was the daily breakfast at the sister property La Granja, not yet opened as a hotel but offered to us. The views from the dining room are incredible, perching as it does on the edge of the Canyon. And we saw condors each day whilst we breakfasted. For my birthday the entire staff came to the suite door with a maracuya cheese cake and 2 candles to sing Happy Birthday.

Good choice
Room standard but a bit cold. Restaurant food ok Staff very friendly..Dining room needs heating and a bit of ambience They own La Granja near Cruz del Candor.. thats a better pick

Excellent services and accommodations
The staff is top rated. Our experience was excellent. The hotel allowed us to store our luggage and car while we hiked and stayed at the bottom of the canyon. When we returned, they made us a nice lunch even though it was outside of the lunch hours. The rooms were clean, water was warm for showers and the location was quite.

Excellent Stafff
The Staff at the Kintur Wassi went out of there way to make my stay an excellent one. They put me in touch with right people, my Canyon adventures went flawlessly. The breakfast was excellent, and laundry service was quick. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hotel in Cabanaconde.
We had an amazing stay at Kuntur Wassi. Colca Canyon is an incredible place that was made that much more enjoyable by staying at this fantastic hotel. The service was the best we had in Peru - they went above and beyond numerous times to make our stay excellent. We were leaving the hotel early on the morning of my birthday and they even made me a birthday cake for breakfast! Also, the food was incredible - there is no need to eat anywhere else.

Good hotel
We stayed here for 1 night, the hotel was good, nice and comfortable, so bad that the net didn't work, no net at all, so we had to go eat and use internet at the restaurant at the square.

A little gem in the heart of Colca Canyon
Beautifully arranged and well maintained set of buildings, with lots of flowers and trees lifting this hotel above the village. Very friendly staff, in particular the owner who even spoke a bit of English. The restaurant is quite decent. WiFi, while offered, was next to useless - although that seems to be a widespread capacity problem.

Charming hotel Beautiful terrace with interressing view ! ( workers and donkey and horse below) Comfortable bedding Bathroom ok ( stone wall ) water is hot but pressure so so , only 1 soap at the fisrt day and no soap 2 nd day but we dont care cause we bring our own stuff Staff very very nice

Great character in Cabanaconde
We decided to stay in Cabanaconde so we could visit the Colca canyon. Kuntur Wasi was an ideal place for that purpose. The rooms are spacious and have character. The food in the restaurant is also very good. Helpful and friendly staff too.

Best place to stay in Cabanaconde
This hotel has an incredible view of the town and the Colca valley. As there weren't many people staying at the time, our room was upgraded for free to one of their beautiful suites. Dinner was delicious and reasonably priced.

Comfort in Cabanaconde.
A charming hotel in Cabanaconde. Great location -- you can start a hike to the canyon right from your hotel. The staff was wonderful. Although the rooms didn't have heat, they provide several blankets for the beds, a portable heater upon request, and they brought up hot water bottles for our beds before bedtime so we were toasty warm. Plenty of hot water for showers. We had a porch outside of our room with a wonderful view of the mountains.

Excelente el hotel y el servicio, incluso despues de mi estadia cuando me di cuenta que había dejado algo en la habitación y el personal del hotel tomó la molestia de mandarmelo por encargado. Mil gracias! Excellent hotel and service. I was especially grateful afterwards when I realized I'd left something in the room. Upon contacting them, the staff coordinated to send the bag via bus to a point where I could pick it up. Thank you!!

Excellent stay
Excellent stay. The staff is very warm and welcming. The hotel leaves you feeling of being in home. It is one minute walk from the main square where bus leaves/arrives. The view is amazing.

Schönes Haus, ruhig gelegen
Wir kamen spät an, wurden freundlich empfangen und die Küche hat uns noch lecker versorgt. Wir waren nur eine Nacht, sind von dort zwei Tage in den Colca Canyon gewandert und konnten in der Zeit unsehr Auto parken.

Urig designtes Hotel mit hervorragendem Personal.
Das Hotel liegt in Cabanaconde im Colca Tal. Von hier aus haben wir eine Wanderung zu einigen Miradores unternommen. Gute Küche und nette Zimmer, leider ohne Heizmöglichkeit.

Confort, bellísimos paisajes, linda es Arequipa
Mi familia y yo hemos pasado un día completo de una manera increíble superando las expectativas, la estancia en el hotel ha contribuído que nuestra experiencia de viaje sea más y mejor valorada, desde la habitación hasta el servicio en el restaurant (almuerzo,algo ligero consumido en horas de la noche y desayuno, en ese orden)no pensamos que existiese un lugar así en un sitio tan bonito y alejado.

El hotel en general está bien en lo relativo a sus instalaciones. El problema que tuvimos es que la wifi no funcionaba, a pesar de que fue ese el motivo por el cual seleccionamos este hotel. Nos quisieron cobrar de mas cuando llegó la hora de pagar. El personal no facilita mucha información en cuanto que hacer por la zona, si la quieres visitar por tu cuenta.

Un lugar mágico!!!
El lugar es mágico, y la atención de la Sra. Mary y de Maria y Alhelí excelente!!!, te hacen sentir en casa. la comida deliciosa esta muy cercano a la Cruz de Cóndor y ver los cóndores volar es maravilloso.
