A great place to stay very clean and comfortable good location to food and Canberra centre for shopping staff were very friendly and helpful. Only thing I would say is bed is very soft but for me still passable i would highly recommend the Avenue

This was a really nice and classy hotel. Very close to food options and the city centre. The facilities and amenities were well maintained and excellent. Freindly and professional staff. This will be a first choice hotel if i am staying in the city.

From arrival till the time we checked out we were impressed with our accommodation, we had our own kitchen, dining, living area. It was very clean and modern. we had the option to have our room cleaned each day or receive a $10 discount voucher for Marble and Grain restaurant. You could have a buffet breakfast or pick from menu, lunch and dinner. The staff were always friendly and ready to help, we were within a 5 to 10 min walk to Canberra Centre for shopping which had an array of shops or cafe/restaurants to choose from. Location of the Hotel was excellent would highly recommend and will certainly stay there again.

The Avenue is a beautiful hotel with excellent amenities in each room. I just love their bidy wash and lotions and the 'extras' you get staying here. I would highly recommend. Its also super convenient to access civic and all it has to offer!

Nice hotel and very hospitable staff. Upgrade was nice. Canberra is a much smaller city than I expected but it was quiet and relaxing. Feels like a college town.

The restaurant options are limited. Only a steak restaurant on the premises and not much else around without a fairly long walk. If you plan to stay here, you need to do research on restaurants. My wife is vegetarian, and menu options on the house restaurant were very limited.

Great location, very comfortable bed.
The only problem I had was with the fridge. It didn't have a freezer compartment so I couldn't freeze my esky brick to keep my cold things cold the next day.

Comfortable and great location
Fantastic location close to light rail, Canberra centre, shops and eateries, no need to even take the car out of the car park Quiet clean and comfortable apartment with everything you need to cook should you choose to, washer and dryer, dishwasher and full size fridge. The hotel was quiet, it was at times noisy in the streets beyond but that is because it was Summernats time so anywhere old have car noise, it didn’t affect our sleep on the comfortable bed

We have been staying at the avenue for years, I think the rooms good do a refresh now. Quite dated and the bathroom door in the spa room had been so water damaged that you had slam the door for it to shut. Other than that we continue to stay here because of it's location.

We booked the room for 2 adults and a 4 year old. My wife was told at check in normally they would charge extra for the child but on this occasion they will not. We were in apartment 412 an easy access room. The door does not close properly and needs to be pulled. Which we didn't realise at first. Also there was a smell coming from the drain in the bathroom maybe the room hasn't been used for sometime.

Nice convenient hotel walking distance to shopping and bars. Breakfast ok however stupid plates offered to eat you r breakfast off are a fail. Only reason we did not return to onsite restaurant for breakfast. An easy fix though. Mini bar not working in room.
