Service could be improved
Nice hotel but not the best service...we arrived at 2:30 thinking that our room would be ready, however, we were told “your room will be ready in 30 minutes”. The hotel staff then went to prepare the room even though only 2 out of the 8 rooms were occupied.
On our last day we had to be up early as we were getting picked up at 8:30 so we asked the staff the day before what time breakfast started and if we would be able to have breakfast before we left (breakfast isn’t include in the rate). They said it was fine and that breakfast started at 7am so we went down at 7:15 to order only to be told by the hotel manager “sorry my wife is very tired she’s not here!” He then directed us to a cafe down the road and tried to give me the keys to his motorbike to drive there on!
On a more positive note the hotel is in a good location - close to many great bars, restaurants and attractions. The blue lagoon and secret beach are within walking distance however, up hill so we hired a motorbike from the hotel for 80,000 per day. The room was very clean and spacious with lots of storage and a lovely balcony. The pool was very nice.
