Stayed here while I was in Chiang Mai. This is possibly the cheapest place to stay in town, with a flat rate of 120 Baht for a dorm room with fan. The room itself is a bit dark and damp, especially if the people staying there don't close the door to the shared bathroom (the bathroom is very humid). My advice is to put on the fans and open the windows and doors to air out. And to ask the other guests not to spray deodorant on while in the small sleeping space with limited air circulation.
The owners are very accommodating and will be open to lower rates at longer stay. I highly recommend going to the top roof area and chilling there as it offers a small but welcome reprieve from the Chiang Mai city life and some fresh air.
