Very disappointing
This hotel was very disappointing.
Firstly the hotel is on a hill. So to get to it by foot from town and back, in altitude is not easy (especially at night). Be aware of this and keep in mind if booking.
The hotel in general is also very cold in terms of temperature. Both in the waiting area and in our room. There are no temperature controls in the rooms.
The room is very basic, but clean, towels are provided, and there is a safe which felt secure. These were the only positives.
The washroom, and shower were a complete joke. The door didn't lock properly and would open unexpectedly. It made a very loud noise to open and close. The shower (if you can call it that) was a drip of cold water on a small shower head, stuck to the wall. No shower gel or shampoo - only bars of soap available (we asked).
No natural light in our room at all, and there was a window looking directly into our washroom from the corridor - which made us very uncomfortable.
Breakfast (again if you can call it that) was terrible. Nothing is replenished when empty. Staff seem more concerned with cutting up the ham / cheese into to tiny pieces, than making sure there is enough for guests. Options were awful.
Most staff do not speak English. You need to ask for something at least twice for any action to take place. If something is not working as it should, they do not express any urgency to help.
Do not recommend. A hostel in the main town would be better.
