This hotel started off great but by the end, I was not impressed. First & foremost, one of the main reasons I chose this hotel was because of the rooftop terrace. There is no rooftop terrace for guests despite being advertised as such. The staff was accommodating to all of our needs & did schedule transportation for us as needed. On days of excursions, the hotel provided us with bagged lunches. On our 2nd to last day, $20 American dollars was missing from my wallet. Although I did not expect the hotel to give me $20 back directly, I did expect some type of compensation. I spoke with the manager & owner who informed me they were unable to take off anything from the room, however, they would compensate our airport transportation. When we arrived at the airport, the driver requested payment. I contacted the hotel immediately; my call was lost & when I tried to call back, my calls were immediately transferred to voicemail. Finally, we were given bottle of water daily, per guest, at no charge. On our final day, the front desk attendant charged us 9sol for 3 bottles of water. Although we questioned it, we paid the money in sol versus charging it to a credit card. When checking out, they attempted to charge us again for the water, suggestive that the initial attendant may have pocketed our money. I do understand this is a new hotel & that they are still adjusting, however, given that it is a new hotel, I did expect more of an accommodation for our troubles.
