Beautiful, older hotel (character!) Great location, easy access to downtown. Last minute bonus, we were able to walk to stadium and watch a Dallas Stars hockey game.

We stayed downtown to attend a concert at the American Airlines center and it was so convenient and a quick Uber ride! The Argentinian restaurant half a block away was amazing!

The rooms for dimly lit; we were given the incorrect Room upon check in should’ve been a king suite we were given a queen suite, and had to request to change. we did not get housekeeping on one of the days after we were gone all day and had to request the room to be cleaned. The pool area looked forlorn and unkept. Restaurant needs more food selections. On a better note, Philip the concierge was outstanding. This is the worst Fairmont I’ve ever stayed in, and I have visited properties and Arizona and Washington DC to mention a few. Improvements needed.! I expect better!

This hotel is past its prime. It’s old, has a musty smell, and has signs of wear everywhere. From chunks of fabric missing from the bar stools in the lobby bar to the dingy smell of the room, I really questioned if I was actually in a Fairmont. Very disappointed. I wouldn’t spend more than $130 a night here.

The hotel location was very good. The property was good too, the heating AC was not working well, we asked to fix it and they immediately took care of it. You need to stay in line more than 15 min to get your car if you give your car to the valet parking that is not good. In general, it was good hotel and I think 4 out of 5 is a good score for it. I recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Fairmont Dallas for 3 nights. We will never go back. They charge 14.99 per day for “premium internet access” which never worked in our room during our stay. Despite having Tech Support visit multiple times they weren’t able to fix the issue. They also pretend to give you access to chromecast so you can stream apps on the Tv. That also never worked. On top of that they have what feels like an olympic sized pool but they keep the pool at ice cold temperatures so that was a very unpleasant experience. There are also no jacuzzi’s. Other than those inconveniences, the front desk was nice and they acknowledged their shortcomings. They removed all the internet charges from the bill as well as provided movie credits to watch in our room to compensate for the misrepresentation of amenities. The valet attendants were also top notch and very responsive.

I booked this hotel because it was a historic one, but I was surprised that it was a bit dated and lacked some modern amenities I've gotten from other hotels. No fan in the bathroom, the shower tub was peeling, and the TV had options to stream Netflix etc, but the $15/day internet charge wasn't strong enough to be able to stream. There was also a $50/day parking fee, and when I would forget my phone charger or other things in my car, I felt bad having the valet fetch my car instead of being able to walk to the garage to get my stuff. It was, however, close to Deep Ellum and only a block away from the Dallas World Aquarium.

Check in and out was a breeze. The valet staff were very attentive. I especially enjoyed all the amenities: gift shop, onsite Starbucks, gym, and lounge. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who needs to be in Downtown Dallas. I was able to walk to and from the House of Blues and dinner without any safety concerns. This will be my go to hotel in the future.

Very polite, helpful and professional staff. Clean rooms, nice amenities, elevators worked fine. Plumbing fixtures in the room seemed a little sketchy, but they worked. Might want to replace sink faucet handles and shower heads with more durable fixtures. Bar was great, but it and the lobby did get very cold when north wind blew in at 33 degrees F outside.

I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The carpet appears old and unclean. The shower head broke and water splashed all over the bathroom on the first night. The janitorial forgot to clean the room 1 day during the stay, so I had to call the room service. The sparking water can was empty because I drink them. I called for the room service, they brought me 2 water bottles. I called the room service again, they said they dont have anymore sparking water.
