We booked a room at Residence La Plage through Wotif. Upon arriving at the Residence La Plage to check in we were informed that they could not accommodate our booking as there were no rooms available, an agreement was made to cancel the booking and we booked other accommodation. Residence La Plage however did not cancel the booking and we were charged the full amount for a room that was not available. The hotel was subsequently contacted and we have not received a reply, an apology or a refund... Very disappointed!

Nice hotel, close to the beach.
We had a nice holiday in Mauritius at Residence la plage. Excellent staff members and very helpful. Located just across the beach. Very convenient shops and restaurants close by. We had a 2 bedrooms appartment, clean and modern. Thierry is a very nice person. Good value. Great deal. Thank you!

Make sure you get what you pay for
The room was ok I booked a two bed received a 1 bed. My bag was stolen on the beach and it was very noisy because of the road but the manager was pleasant.
