It's very new hotel with excellent management and very friendly staff. 240 kilometers from Male airport. Only one flaw - the last leg from Male to hotel is unpredictable, because seaplanes don't have schedule. You can easily loose 5-6hours waiting seaplane at Male after arriving and before outgoing international flight. Hotel doesn't have lounge at Male for waiting. Villas are very big, with pools and very private. Water, sun, great weather, one of the best breakfast and very nice stuff

Spectacular resort but service needs improvement!
My wife and I loved this resort, where everything was brand new and the villas were spectacular! Service wise, there was however much room for improvement. Prior to arrival, I informed the reservations team that this was our babymoon and that I wanted it to be memorable for my wife. They wrote back to confirm my booking (without acknowledging my request). Checking in, the absence of any special arrangements was surprising - no flowers, decorations, or a simple message (which we expect from 5-star resorts)! It seemed Reservations had paid no attention to my message. A complimentary bottle of wine offered to me at the point of booking was also nowhere in sight; it took 3 days of checking with the staff before the bottle finally appeared on our last night. That a 5-star resort took 3 days to present a bottle of wine was ludicrous. The spa appointments made prior to arrival (which Reservations had supposedly confirmed with the Spa) were also missing in their records. Reservations seemed to have been working in isolation and communication between the teams was absent. Thankfully, there were many exceptional hosts – special thanks to Marife Bien and her Spa team, where we were treated like royalty. Our butler Liya made us feel very much at home and saw to all our needs. Iman saw us off at the airport and escorted us all the way to the airline check-in counters. At the end of the day, we brought home lovely memories and sincerely hope for a true 5-star experience when we return.

Amazing resort!
Myself and my husband stayed here for 10 nights for our honeymoon. I can’t stress how amazing this place really is! The staff were so friendly and helpful, everyone from the cleaners to the restaurant staff, to the butlers!... yes, you get a butler! Your butler will greet you, take you to your villa and get you settled in, inform you of everything you may need to know, we were lucky enough to have Ivy looking after us, she was so friendly and helpful. We knew when we booked that the hotel is newly opened, so not every facility/accommodation is complete just yet. We stayed in a beach villa, which was beyond our expectations. The photos really don’t do this place justice! It was beautiful! Each villa has its own private pool, but there is also the huge main pool in the centre of the island. We stayed in an overwater villa on our last night and again, we were blown away! There is a reef around the water villas and there are lots of fish to see if you like snorkelling! I almost cried leaving, we had such a wonderful time! Also, the staff greet you at the airport and take you to exactly where you need to be, we found this a lovely touch - I can’t recommend this place highly enough! We will be back! Thank you everyone in Fairmont Maldives - you made our time there so enjoyable, it was a holiday of a lifetime for us and we will remember it forever!

숙박시설 자체는 괜찮았음. 그러나 왕복 항공권 가격가지고 엄청나게 호텔 및 지역 항공사와 다툼이 있었음. 별로 유쾌하지도 않은 기억이었을 뿐만아니라 호텔 지배인도 정확하게 설명을 하지도 않고 항공사 편을 들었음. 뭐 시설이 좋으니 비싼가격에 호갱되라는 것임. 살짝 이용안한 서비스에 대한 비용이 청구되어 있거나...뭐 그럼...

We regret to read that we couldn't meet and exceed your expectations at the departure time and that you did not have the memorable experience during your holiday that we wish to provide to all of our guests. Kindly be informed that the seaplane schedule upon arrival was changed by the resort you stayed before you arrived in our resort but the information about diversion fee and no refund policy was not given during the seaplane change process. We informed about your comment and dissatisfaction to Trans Maldivian Airlines but they did not agree to waive the charge and we had to follow the decision from Trans Maldivian Airlines since the seaplane operation, schedule and charges are managed by the seaplane company not by the resort. We believe our management team visited your villa and explained the situation as mentioned. It is unfortunate to read that we did not live up to your hopes and expectations. Rest assured that these points are taken into consideration and addressed to the Trans Maldivian Airlines. Again, thank you for this feedback which is very important to help us with enhancing our guest experience. Despite this disappointing experience we do hope that you will return to Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi for memorable stay giving us the chance to turn around your experience with our improvements.
