"It is a Marriott so there is a standard to meet. The staff was great, especially Sergio at the front desk during PM hours. He was more than helpful during our stay and called us by name, which is a nice touch. The only issue is that will need to take a taxi or bus to go anywhere; especially the historic district, so you need to account for that."

The room was the right size — no frills, just what we needed. The location was perfect: a mere 10-minute walk to the port/sea. "Very helpful at check-in. Room was a good size, a/c worked well and plenty of light in the bathroom. Complementary water was a nice touch. Mattress on bed was very comfortable but the bed frame squeaked when either of us turned over, my only criticism, better bed frames needed. Breakfast was OK, warm food tended to be a bit tepid and scrambled eggs had a hard top on them due to standing under a heat lamp for too long. Nice swimming pool although I didn’t use it Overall a very comfortable pleasant stay. Thank you."
