"Lovely hotel opposite the train station and very close to the attractions, cafes and restaurants. It is a short walk to the castle, lake, shops, town, etc, which makes this a perfect location. The room was great, shower wonderful and the bed was super comfortable. I liked the huge windows, the desk space and the comfy chair. Everywhere was modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of good quality options. I wasn't keen on the QR code booking breakfast/check out systen, as this didn't really work, but this is a minor issue. I certainly recommend this hotel. "

"Rooms are miles away from the reception, very dust rooms and also many cobwebs and spiders in the room. Cleanliness should definitely be improved. Bearing in mind that this hotel has a great opportunity with business travelers as it is right next to the industrial area, it should be improved. Breakfast was plentiful, but no continental options. Lots of confusion by all as the breakfast is all over the area and people cannot find things. Staff at reception are quite poor, spent 10 minutes filling all the details on an ipad that they asked and when its time to get the invoice with the company name, its blank. Took 6 attempts to get it right, including the staff googling for the address and putting what they think is right rather than what you tell them. Utter incompetence, but is the usual Danish standard for hospitality. Would recommend staying there, but be warned about the cleanliness, although not unhygienic, and the poor staff."

"We felt like family at this very charming and historic hotel. Anders and Louisa are such friendly and helpful managers. We do not speak Danish but their English was more than perfect. Our dining experiences were outstanding and the breakfasts were superb. We were in Denmark for meetings and the hotel’s facilities were excellent for all of us. Thank you for an exceptional stay. "
