Bishop Lei is a great place to stay since it's such a close walk to to the escalators and stairs to get down to LKF and Central. The shuttle bus service to HK Station is also nice to have. Would be nice to have water bottles in the rooms though. Overall, would stay here again!

My room had a great window view of the city. The staff was polite and helpful at all times. Access was convenient using either the escalator between Central and Mid-Levels or the shuttle bus. Will definitely consider going back to this hotel again.

Good value all around for a 3 star hotel, the in house restaurant was convenient and well priced (especially considering food in general on HK island). Churches nearby, nice zoo and botanical garden nearby, escalators up and down the hill (depending on time of day) nearby, party district not far either. Locals were always impressed when I mentioned I was staying in Midlevel, I guess it's a wealthy area. Enjoyed my stay very much and would immediately choose this hotel again.

The hotel is not close to metro station, but have a bus stop downstairs, and they have shuttle bus between Hong Kong station and the hotel. Overall, it’s convenient. As to the staffs, they are all really nice and friendly!

This hotel is perfect for easy access to the Central escalator for loads of dining options. Easy walk to the zoo. Bus stop out front makes getting anywhere easy. Loved the city view from my room. Will stay there in future.

Shame the pool wasn’t open for the duration of my stay but it was within the winter months. The shuttle bus however was very useful and it was only a very short walk to access the escalators which took you between the Mid Levels and the City Centre. For the price it was brilliant.

For the price I paid this was the perfect stay. Beds changed, towels replaced daily along with bottled water/tea/coffee replenished. Great location eg 10 min walk from the escalators. Bus stop right outside too.

A good choice for the fit, or even half fit
I didn't know which part of HK to stay in but this turned out to be perfect for my needs. I enjoyed using the escalators down into the centre. A lot of walking, but I enjoy that. Chose a suite for more room and I thought it was excellent, and had an outstanding view. Getting here from the airport is easy and when I left, hotel's free bus took me to the Airport Express station and I was at the airport just 35 minutes after leaving the hotel. Overall the hotel exceeded my expectations.

Location is great. Shuttle to Central is great but schedule details should have exactly where the pickup is to return back to hotel. Nothing in room or hallways open to outside so there is no airing; the hallways really smell stale.

Very small standard room
Nice and clean, friendly staff but the standard room is so small! Barely big enough for the bed, we had literally nowhere to put our suitcases. Ive been told this is usual for HK, so take your chances, but we paid a lot of money for such a tiny room. We stayed 2 nights in Macau, and for half the price, got an utterly stunning room. We picked the Bishop as it was close to my son's apartment and when we returned from Macau, the Bishop gave us an upgrade free of charge, without us asking. This was a much bigger room, so maybe go for a couple of nights in a standard room, leave for a night or two, then return to the Bishop, you may also get a free upgrade. Overall, its a nice, pleasant hotel but just be prepared for the room size.

We paid an additional amount for a high floor with a view and had a magnificent one. We stayed for 4 nights, went away for 2, and asked for the same room if possible for the next two days and they arranged that for us. Nice bedroom with a separate room with a desk and 2 person sofa. Both rooms had tv.
